Excalibur's shape changed and she became smaller. She changed from a great sword to a longsword. Her blade was still silver with a red line in the middle of the blade and edges. Her hilt looked like a red bird with a green gem. The crowd seemed confused as to them she might have downgraded.
"I fear you seemed to have bad luck," said Lizius.
Rize looks at Excalibur's new form and smiles.
"No, in fact, she becomes a better weapon for me," said Rize.
He raises his left hand and summons the demon sword and he can duel wield both weapons in his hands. Rize gets ready in a stance.
"I think it's time we finished this match," said Rize with a smile.
"I agree," said Lizius.
The Ice Knight goes in for another slash with its huge ice sword. Rize lunged during this and was able to dodge this because he moved faster now Excalibur was smaller in size.
"Ignite," said Rize.
Excalibur emits flames from the blade, but he sees something strange happen as the demon sword starts emitting dark flames from it. Rize kept running and as he got closer the Ice Knight used its large ice shield to block Lizius from Rize. He goes in and attacks the shield with his swords.
"You're wasting your time," said Lizius. "That at least a foot thick."
But Lizius would be shocked as he saw cracks forming in the ice. Rize kept on attacking until he was able to break through. He then goes after Lizius, who uses the ice knight to block his attack with its right hand. Rize stops as he sees the ice knight swinging its sword at him. But Rize uses his swords to catch the giant ice sword from crushing him. The ground under Rize starts cracking from the force.
"What the hell are you made of?" questioned Lizius.
"Already told you I am not losing here," said Rize.
Rize destroys the Ice Knight's blade. He would charge up his swords with fire and launch a cross-slash blast at Lizius as a finishing move to defeat him. A huge explosion when it hit. When the dust cleared Lizius was on the ground knocked out from the blast.
"The Winner of the match and advancing to the semi-finals, Rize Alistair and Anna Excalibur!" yelled The Announcer.
Rize takes his sword and makes up a victory pose. The crowd started to cheer for him and his victory. Rize starts to notice Lizius getting up, heads over, and extends his right hand to help him up.
"That was a good fight prince," said Rize.
Lizius grabs his hand with his left.
"Indeed, it was a great learning experience for both of us," said Lizius.
Everyone starts cheering for Rize for showing good sportsmanship to Lizius.
Rize sits down in the locker room and transforms back into her human form.
"Good work out there," said Rize.
"Thanks, I just felt like you need more help fighting him," said Anna.
"Well, it worked and we move on to the semi-finals," said Rize.
They would see Judas and Yumi walk into the locker room
"Rize, good job showing that royal how we do it downtown," said Judas.
"Oh my god. You are embarrassing," said Yumi.
"What wrong my princess?" asked Judas.
"You. You just act like a creep sometimes," said Yumi.
"Damn, what happened to the days of you love me treating you like a princess," said Judas.
"I not a kid anymore, Judas," said Yumi,
"That's right my little girl is now a big girl now," said Judas.
He puts his right hand over his eyes as he cries a bit.
"Do not ever treat me like that," said Anna.
"noted," said Rize.
"Anyway, it seems your next opponent has already been decided," said Judas.
"Yeah? Who is this guy?" asked Rize.
"His name is Ion Gre," said Judas.
"Never heard of him. Another royal?" questioned Rize.
"He now really knows for much. He just a hunter from the Far Wood," said Judas.
"I guess. But his last name is weird," said Rize.
"Gre, yeah. There used to be a monster that lived in those woods with the same name a very terrifying beast, but he is gone now. He was slain by us in fact," said Judas.
"Damn, no wonder you're an upper DHO guy," said Rize.
"Yeah, and it was all thanks to this tournament little brother," said Judas.
