Michael nodded, his expression mirroring my resolve. "I'll handle Liam. He's not going to get away with this. And as for the business... I've already started putting some things in motion. Blackwell won't see it coming."
I raised an eyebrow. "Edward Blackwell? , the man who was conniving with Harrington? You think he's still going to make a move?"
"He's waiting for the perfect moment," Michael replied, his voice growing cold. "He's been circling like a shark ever since the media got wind of the pregnancy. But I'm not going to let him win."
My eyes flashed with determination. "Good. Because I'm not about to let anyone destroy what we're building. Not Liam. Not Blackwell. No one."
Michael looked at me, a slow smile spreading across his face. "You're incredible, you know that?"
I shrugged, a small smile tugging at my lips. "Just doing what needs to be done."
