Sunan and Phanamus walked away after the event ended, the excitement still buzzing in the air. Sunan turned his head back to catch one last glimpse of Klahan, his heart skipping a beat as he smiled and turned back.
"P'Klahan is more handsome in person," Phanamus said with a grin.
Three girls approached them, their faces lit up with excitement. "Sawadee Khrup," the three high school students greeted in unison.
"Sawadee Khrup," Sunan and Phanamus replied, matching their enthusiasm.
"You guys are also P'Klahan fans?" one of the girls asked, her eyes sparkling.
"Yeah!" they both replied eagerly.
"Almost everyone loves P'Klahan, and we're all coming to this school because of him," one of the girls said, her voice filled with admiration.
"Wow! That's exciting," Sunan said, his smile widening.
"I want to add you to the school group just for P'Klahan," the three girls said in unison, their excitement palpable.
"I'm giving mine first," Phanamus said, quickly handing over his phone number.
Later that evening, Sunan walked towards his house, the sky painted in hues of orange and pink. He opened the door gently, tiptoeing inside with a mischievous grin, ready to surprise his mom with a back hug. To his disappointment, he saw his dad already embracing her. He sighed, feeling a pang of disappointment.
"What's wrong, my son?" his dad asked, uncuddling his wife and looking at Sunan with concern.
"Nothing," Sunan shrugged, trying to mask his feelings. He walked towards the water jug, grabbed a cup, and poured himself a drink.
"Do you like the university?" his father asked, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, I also met P'Klahan," Sunan said, his excitement returning.
"Wow, your favorite singer!" his mom said, equally excited as she set the food on the dining table. The family sat down and started eating, the atmosphere filled with warmth and chatter.
"Why don't I know who Klahan is?" his father asked, feeling left out.
"You don't have to know," his mother said with a smile, leaving her husband in playful shock.
A few days later…
"Maee, I got admission to the university!" Sunan shouted, hugging his mom tightly.
"Thank goodness!" his mom praised, her eyes shining with pride.
"I'm so excited!"
The next day, Sunan and Phanamus wore black trousers and white shirts, heading towards the school with a mix of nerves and excitement. They entered the faculty, where seniors placed square cardboard with ribbon necks on them. They all sat down, listening intently as the seniors spoke.
"So guys, I will be giving you all a medium book, and you must get all the seniors in this faculty to sign it," one of the seniors announced.
Sunan walked around the faculty, greeting the seniors and politely asking for their signatures. He was focused on his task when suddenly, a ball came flying out of nowhere and hit him straight on the head.
