"P'Klahan didn't accept the gift I gave him," Sunan said to his mom as he entered the house.
"Then leave him be. Maybe he feels uncomfortable accepting gifts from people," his mom replied. Sunan shrugged his shoulders and walked straight to his room. He opened his bag, took out the mug, and stared at it.
"I'm not gonna give up," he muttered to himself.
The next day at school, Sunan walked to the school hospital and to the office where he had met Klahan the other day. He opened the door gently and placed the mug with a post-it note on it.
Klahan entered the office and saw the mug. Knowing who it came from, he sighed and noticed the note on it.
'This is from my mom. If you reject or throw it away, it will hurt her feelings.'
Klahan sighed again, knowing it was likely a lie but also possibly true. He reluctantly put the mug in his bag.
Later, Klahan got out of his bathroom apartment wearing a nude plain baggy top and black joggers, with a small towel around his neck as he used it to wipe his wet hair. He went to sit at his desk, opened his bag, and brought out the mug, staring at it with a cold, unreadable expression.
"Wee!" Sunan exclaimed as he fell onto his bed. "Finally!" He rolled back and forth on his bed.
Sunan and Phanamus walked out of the class after they were done.
"I'm so tired," Sunan said, yawning and stretching his hands.
"We should go to the library," Phanamus suggested, and they both walked there.
"Someone hacked into the school forum and has been spreading rumors about the school," one of the students in the library said.
Sunan and Phanamus took out their phones to see what was being talked about. It was true—fake rumors were being spread about their school.
Sunan walked towards the students. "I can help," he said. The senior students looked at each other and then at him.
"I can hack the hacker and set a trap for the person."
The four senior students, along with Sunan and Phanamus, gathered in front of a computer with Sunan at the helm. He hacked into the person's account within a minute.
"Wow," one of the seniors praised.
Sunan then deleted all the posts and wrote an apology letter, humiliating the hacker.
"He'll definitely come back to me," Sunan said, wrapping up his work.
He then warned the hacker, "Don't ever throw sh*t against my school because I have more than that," he sent it and smirked. Phanamus rolled his eyes, and the seniors smiled.
When he was done, he stood up, and the seniors praised him.
"It's okay," he said, and both he and Phanamus walked out of the computer room.
"My smart friend," Phanamus praised.
"Yeah, thanks," Sunan said, accepting it with pride.
A ball was about to hit Sunan when someone immediately stepped in, catching hold of the ball and pulling Sunan out of harm's way. Sunan was shocked and closed his eyes tightly, opening them to see Klahan holding him.
Klahan threw the ball back, still looking at Sunan with a cold, piercing gaze. They both stared at each other. Phanamus looked sad and jealous about this moment, biting his lips to hold it in.
Lots of students were taking their pictures. "Mmh, I'm sorry," Sunan broke the silence, and Klahan let him go as he stood up straight.
"Thank you!" Sunan bowed.
"Be careful," Klahan said icily and walked away.
