Chapter 26 - Rivalry

Chapter 26: Rivalry

The class was buzzing with excitement as Professor Artemis announced the final project for the semester. Each student would be required to choose an agent weapon and train with it for the next two weeks.

Yun-ho, Nova, Ethan, and Anya exchanged excited glances. They had all been looking forward to this project, as it would give them a chance to test their skills and learn new abilities.

After class, the students made their way to the weapons hall. The hall was filled with a wide variety of weapons, from swords and daggers to bows and daggers

As Yun-ho, Nova, and Ethan made their way to the weapons hall, Yun-ho couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. The sight of the weapons brought back memories of his past life, his days training in the martial arts.

Yun-ho wandered through the hall, examining the various weapons. He was drawn to a particular sword, a long, curved blade with intricate engravings. The sword felt familiar, as if he had seen it before.

As he held the sword in his hand, a wave of memories washed over him. He remembered his days training in the jianghu, the ancient Chinese martial arts world. He had often dreamed of owning a sword like this one.

With a smile, Yun-ho selected the sword. It felt like a natural extension of his arm, as if it had always been meant for him.

Nova and Ethan watched as Yun-ho examined the sword. "That's a beautiful weapon," Nova said.

"It feels right," Yun-ho replied. "Like it was made for me.", Nova chose a staff infused with magical energy, and Ethan chose a pair of daggers.

As they were examining the weapons, they noticed a new student standing nearby. He was a tall, muscular figure with a cold, calculating expression. His name was Marcus, and he had recently transferred to the academy.

Marcus approached Yun-ho and his friends, his eyes filled with a sense of rivalry. "You think you're so tough, don't you?" he said.

Yun-ho raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Marcus smirked. "I've heard about your little adventures. You think you're invincible, but you're nothing more than a bunch of amateurs."

Yun-ho was not amused. "Is that so? Why don't you prove it?"

Marcus grinned. "Gladly."

With that, Marcus drew his sword and lunged at Yun-ho. A duel was about to begin.
