Exiting out into what felt like a party in the streets Haru could see people everywhere and they were all boasting about the new heroes.
"Maybe these heroes are what we needed all along." A man says with a joyful tone.
Immediately another man goes up to him and wraps his arms around him.
"Definitely! We've been lacking more heroes, it's about damn time." Another man says with an ale in his hand.
All those people are celebrating the new heroes without them even doing anything yet, what kind of shit is this? I didn't get a big celebration when our group became heroes so why the hell do these guys get one.
Haru began to make his way through the crowd while heading for the stairs that led up the keep. Guards didn't give him much of a problem since he showed the badge but they did watch him closely.
"Just know the king is pretty busy with the festival going on." The guard by the gates says before opening it up.
