[ Elvis - Elven Kingdom Northeast Border.]
[ 6:00 Pm.]
"Find them!!! We can't let the Cursed Child be born!!"
An elf putting on a silver battle Armour roared at the 30 elves soldiers behind him.
"But Commander, they went into the Forest of Flesh Eaters. I don't think it's wise to enter." The young lady looking her early 20s, said with lingering fear. Her gaze fixed on the dark Forest in front of them.
"What are you saying? We should let the Cursed child to be born, and seal the fate of our world?!" The Commander fixed his displeased gaze on her.
"I didn't say that, I only--"
"--Enough! We're going." His tone left no room for refuses.
"Let's go in!"
With that said, all the Soldiers followed behind him; entering the forest.
___
The forest of flesh eaters was filled with countless dangerous plants and Monsters. The trees in this forest were huge, saying huge was an understatement; their leaves were so broad that it block the rays of the sun.
50 meters from their location, two figures were running with every little strength in their body. Trying to escape from their chasers.
"Ahh! I can't. I can't. No more."
The heavily pregnant woman placed her hand on a tree, breathing heavily. It wasn't easy running from her own people because they thought her child was the Cursed child the prophecy mentioned. She as the mother couldn't bring herself to let them kill her child.
"Come on Mom! We need to keep moving." A young girl looking around 15β16 years said, her voice filled with urgency.
"Go Lilly, you should save yourself." The woman said with difficulty.
"No, Why'll I leave my yet-to-be-born brother, and you; Just for my safety?" She turned around.
Commander: "Come on! I know we're getting closer."
"Shit! Mom, We need to move." She looked at her mother who was breathing heavily, with some hesitation. She stretched out her hands towards her.
"Evocans Potestatem medendi."
[Calling forth the power of healing]
A white magic rune appeared in front of her stretched hands.
"What are you doing, Lilly?" The woman looked up at her, feeling her energy returning.
"Sorry that I can't do more, Mon." She apologized, as the rune in front of her shattered.
The woman shook her head with a loving smile. "You did great, but don't do that again. You don't have enough Sid energy in you."
"That's because I'm still weak, When I get stronger; I'll make all of them pay!! Come on, let's keep on moving." She placed the woman's hand across her shoulders.
The two continued their journey, making sure to create as much distance as they could.
[Elves' Kingdom.]
[King castle.]
Two figures stood floating above the castle, staring at Northeast with countless unreadable emotions.
"My king, we must stop the Cursed Child from being born." An old man with long white beard putting on a white robe and holding a staff, said to the Middle-age man standing in front of him.
The king gritted his teeth in rage.
"If the other races discover that the Cursed Child is born from the elves' Kingdom, what do you think they'll do?"
"Asked why you haven't killed the child, insult you. Or even worst; start a War?"
"Correct." He heaved a deep sigh.
"As far as I know Aurora, she'll never let any harm cone to her child." He looked up at the clear blue sky.
"Grand priest, send this word out. Aurora is no longer accepted as a member of our race, she and her so-called Daughter's honor and titles will be removed. If you see any of them, bring them to me alive."
"But my king, Aurora is your daughter. Do you think banishing her is the best solution?" The priest asked in mild surprised.
"She made her choice, and I made mine."
Whzzzh!!
The priest looked at the orb fixed on his staff, which glowed for some seconds then returned to normal. "My king, the Commander sent a message."
"What is their situation?" The man asked, still looking at Northeast.
"Aurora decided to enter the flesh eaters' forest."
"Flesh Eaters?" The king turned to the old man, worries flashed in his eyes for a second.
"Yes." The grand priest nodded.
"Send this word back, All the soldiers to retreat. I don't want to lose any of them in that forest." He looked back at the distance.
The grand priest nodded and sent the message out. "My King, it's do--"
His word were cut short, even the king frowned slightly.
The horizon ahead had mysteriously been tinted with red, something that haven't happened in centuries.
"The Cursed child is about to be born!" The grand priest yelled with horror.
The king gritted his teeth, his fist clenched in anger.
"There is nothing we can do grand priest, we can only prepare for this calamity that is about to fall in our world... Make sure the other races never get hold that the Child was born from the Elves' kingdom, and is my daughter's first child!"
The grand priest nodded with a solemn expression.
___
"Halt!!"
The Commander frowned slightly.
"What is it Commander?" The woman beside him asked.
"The grand priest wants us to retreat, it's the king's order... Is the king doing this because she is his daughter?"
"No one can question the king's decision, I thought you know that?"
He looked at her. "Don't speak to me with such tone Mariel, You might be the strongest Mage in our kingdom; but that didn't give you the right to speak without thinking."
Mariel's eyes turned cold. "I dare you to say that again." Her green eyes glowed with a lustered color.
"After you two are done arguing, we can head back."
The two turned their heads to the side, seeing a young elf in green Armour, armed with a bow walking towards them.
"I thought you chose to remain silent? Why speak now?" The Commander asked.
The elf turned to the Commander. "Don't forget I'm also a Commander, if the king wants us back. There is nothing we can do about it." With that said, he turned around.
"Let's head back!" He yelled to the soldiers, walking towards the same way they entered. All the Archers in the group followed behind him.
"You can keep going if you want, I'm going back." Mariel followed behind the young elf, leaving the Commander and his soldiers behind.
After some hesitation, he heaved a frustrated sighed. "We are heading back to the kingdom."
__
"Ah!"
"Mom?"
"No, I can't. He's coming. Ah!"
"Eh? Why is my little brother so stubborn?! Can't he wait till we are out of this goddamn forest!" Lilly looked around the place. She stretched out her hand and chant again.
"Virtutem terreni voco, ab arena ad lutum, aedificate nobis umbraculum."
[I call the power of earth, from sand to mud, build us a shelter!]
"Ah! W-What are you doing, Lilly. That... That's a high-class spell."
Lilly closed her eyes, activating all the Sid energy in her body. The earth around them move, slowly ascending. It formed four walls around the two, after that; it moved, covering their heads with a roof. The whole small hut was built with Magic in matter of one minute.
Lilly dropped to her knees, tasting the unpleasant taste of blood in her mouth she frowned. Don't want to scare or worry her mother more, she swallowed it.
"Are you ok, Lilly?" Aurora asked, her voice filled with worries.
"Yes."
"Ahh!! Huff, Huff, Huff. He's coming."
Lilly quickly stood up, and helped Aurora to lie down on the ground.
"What should I do?" She asked out loud, she was just 16 years old. She knew nothing about birth giving.
[Same with the Author.]
"Woo... Woo... Ahh!"
__
[Some Hours Later.]
The soldiers finally walked out of the Forest, they all frowned deeply seeing the sky above them was bloodred.
"Is this?" Mariel was dumbfounded.
"The Cursed Child is being born, The prophecy said the Child will be born when the sky turned red." The young elf looked at the forest. "She might be in labor. Or already given birth, all we can do now is prepare."
With that said, he walked towards his armoured horse; and got on it. "Let's go back!"
Wie hie hie!!
"Hiyah!!"
The horse took race, followed by 10 more horses.
"This boy!" The Commander removed his helmet, then looked up at the sky. "But he's right, we can only prepare." He got on his horse.
Mariel summoned a staff, then sat on it. "I'll wait for you guys at the castle." With that said, she flew into the air, while sitting on her staff.
The Commander shook his head again, and followed behind the young elf.
__
'It has been hours now? And it's now I'm seeing his head.' Lilly thought, attending to Aurora. Blood were all over her hands.
"Come on Mom, you can do it." She encouraged.
"Ahhh!!!"
"Yes, that's it."
"Ahhh!!!"
"Yes! He's a boy!! Just as the prophecy revealed." Lilly used her Magic to clean the blood all over the baby, and after separating the last bond he has with his mother, she passed him to her.
Aurora held her son in her hands, her face filled with joy, but she was mostly scared and worried. This place isn't safe, and the scent of blood, and her screams might have surely attractive a lot of unknown things.
"Evocans Potestatem medendi."
[Calling forth the power of healing]
She turned to Lilly, and nodded gratefully at her. "Thank you, Lilly, from now onward; he'll be known as Aaron."
'So this woman is this body's mother, and I'm guessing this one named Lilly is the body's elder sister. And I'm called Aaron now, at least it's better than the ones I was called in my past lives. But... Did she just use magic? Is she a magician?'
Aaron moved his gaze from Aurora to Lilly, then at the mud hut.
'What?! Are these people so poor that not a single furniture is in this house?'
"Uh? Mom, I heard newborn children needs to cry after birth. But this little guy isn't crying."
Aaron looked at Lilly with Reproach, then smile at her son. "My Son have gone through a lot without evening seeing the world, I don't want him to cry... He'll never cry but make those who is after him cry, and beg."
'Mm... I like her already, but... What the hell did she means by, "I have gone through a lot"? And who is after me? Did I get reborn again to be slaughter before I could even speak?!'
"Ok Mon, let me get something to eat. I can use magic for anything, but can't with food."
"No Lilly, Rest. You are a mage, and you used so much Sid. Please Rest."
Lilly thought for a moment. Seeing Aurora's pleading eyes; she nodded and sat down.
'This will be fun, I will just have to wait and see what this world holds in store for me.'
