I NEED MY STONES
-------------
Naruto's gut churned with worry as he faced the Hokage. "What if he thinks I'm messing around again? He's probably gonna blow it off as just another prank," he thought nervously. But even though Hiruzen sometimes played the doting grandpa, there was a seriousness in Naruto's voice that couldn't be ignored.
Yeah, Naruto had pulled his share of pranks—like turning the village's fences into a colorful circus with his paint bombs. But c'mon, who could stay mad at the kid for choosing silly clown designs? He didn't even bother with those toxic, impossible-to-remove brands.
"Naruto, are you even listening? Spill everything—now!" Hiruzen's voice was a mix of concern and frustration, a tone that made Naruto snap back into reality.
He could hear the weight of worry in the old man's words and wondered if he would finally get real answers instead of the half-baked excuses adults loved to throw around, the kind that even a baby could see through.
"They treated my house like a garbage dump. I don't even know who did it, but I'm pretty sure it was the villagers," Naruto said, his voice steady despite the chaos inside him. He'd picked up some pretty strong words from the adults over time, and now he knew exactly how to express the anger simmering in his chest.
"I can guess that much, but I need more details," Hiruzen pressed, eager for clarity.
"Yeah, okay. They spray-painted a bunch of nasty stuff—calling me a demon and monster," Naruto continued, frustration creeping into his words. "And they used those aerosol cans! You know how hard that stuff is to clean off!"
"Sorry about this, Naruto. It changes everything," Hiruzen replied, his face tense, like he was holding something heavy in the pit of his stomach.
"What do you mean, old man?" Naruto shot back, confused.
"Naruto, you've stumbled right into the middle of a huge ninja problem," Hiruzen said before he turned to leave, his voice trailing off like a shadow, leaving Naruto with a sinking feeling that all was about to get a lot more complicated.
—------
I genuinely feel bad for Naruto, this isn't a problem that can be solved overnight. I do have a hypothesis about who is behind it.
It was truly despicable, why would someone blabber their mouths to the village just to make Naruto's life horrible and hard? It would be nearly impossible for me just to say that the information that was fed to them was fake.
I could feel another migraine coming.
Danzo, you cause me so much trouble yet you are too valuable to the village. Even so, this crime is inexcusable. Once I pass a law no one is above it, not even me its creator!
Deep in my heart, I don't want to let him go but I must accept that he has gone too far into darkness to be saved. Why must everything keep on falling apart?
Danzo falls into darkness, Orochimaru does unspeakable things to human beings, the fourth dies, and Tsunade leaves the village.
A lot of potential was wasted because of my incompetence, but it was time I showed why I was made Hokage. I would have to stay strong, I wouldn't let this incident ruin my will of fire. I hope Naruto stays strong after this as well.
But, I do wonder, where did it go wrong… Danzo.
—-FLASHBACK------
"Tobirama-sensei don't sacrifice yourself, let me do it instead!" Hiruzen shouted in panic.
"Sorry, that won't do!" Tobirama shouted back while weaving off two cloud jonins, "Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet "
The massive blue Dragon stared down on the opposing shinobis, with a predatory glint in its eyes, it made quick work of the jonins.
"There are ten thousand shinobis there, if you won't let me sacrifice myself then we can at least die together!" Hiruzen shouted back while dealing with his pair of shinobi, this time from the earth village.
"Hashirama had a dream, one where children didn't have to wake up and see the blood of their parents lying on the floor… I will make sure that dream is complete, for the next generation!" Tobirama said in defiance.
"Sensei, please don't leave us here, the village still needs you!" Danzo said in worry, he too was dealing with his share of shinobi.
"I must do what I must, if I don't there won't be a village to come back to!"
"Sensei, there are countless strong shinobis in the village!" Danzo shouted back.
"Which one of them can take 10000 chunin and jonins," Hiruzen replied while taking down three cloud nins.
"W-Well…" Danzo wandered off.
"Danzo! Don't lose focus, I see you have matured Hiruzen when you get back to the village, stand proud as you will be the Third Hokage of the Village Hidden In The Leafs"
"What? Me?" Hiruzen replied.
"Danzo, make sure he doesn't go too soft, hard decisions will need to be made and if Hiruzen isn't able to deliver don't think twice before doing it," Tobirama spoke before heading to his death.
—-----------
Ever since that day, he wasn't the same, it seemed like at first it was for the dying wish of sensei but now it isn't even justified anymore.
Nevertheless, his behaviour in recent years has been unacceptable, he seemed to have pulled the last plug, and it was not smart to mess with an angry me.
Turning to my assistant, I spoke "Make a mission to clean Naruto's home, make it a D-rank,"
"Yes sir! I'll make it as soon as possible," she replied.
Turning to my anbu hiding all around the room, I made an important order.
"Gather all council members, civilians, elders and shinobi included, there is to be a council meeting immediately!"
"If they question the reason, just tell them that if they are not seen in under 15 minutes their place in the council will be revoked,"
It was a shame that I had to take down Danzo, but it was time to show why Tobirama made me Hokage and not him.
—--------
"A council meeting on such notice is rarely such an event," Koharu spoke in annoyance.
"The threat you gave us gave me quite a shock," Homura said while sighing.
"Hiruzen, explain," Danzo spoke as if he were innocent.
"In front of the public you will call me Lord Third or Hokage, such disrespect is unacceptable!" I shouted at Danzo.
"Jeez, looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of his bed," the head of the Yamanaka clan muttered.
Surprisingly the civilian council was quiet after the remark made by Hiruzen.
"Finally got a backbone huh?" Danzo spoke quietly but confidently, truth be told he was terrified of an angry Hiruzen.
Back in the second Shinobi War, Hiruzen was the sole reason why the village was still alive; he had gone on a rampage killing 4000 men because of the death of his sensei. The only reason he wasn't known for this was because the bodies were never found.
"Now let's get down to business, Danzo!" I spoke.
