She swallowed hard and looked elsewhere, but not at Robert.
"I hope you will continue to stay with Zayden no matter what happens, even if he one day vanishes from here," Robert stated, his gaze drowning in sorrow as he looked downcast.
"Vanishes? Why would he leave?" she asked anxiously, biting her lips. But despite the stinging pain in her lips, she didn't care about the blood. She rushed Robert with her question, leaning forward, her eyes bulging with curiosity. She didn't give Robert a breathing space, her questions choking him as she impatiently awaited her answers.
