'I have to run!' Jia Mei thought and looked around to find a way to escape. She was currently exhausted and weak after the fight, and now there was another guy. And she could tell that this new bald guy was just as strong as Duan Bo if not stronger.
So, if she wanted to preserve her dignity and life, then there was only one way for her, and that was to escape this situation.
However, just as the thought of running away appeared in her mind, the thin, bald guy snorted.
"Pike Assemblence." He said in a disdainful tone, and with his words, hundreds of wooden thorns projected out from the ground and created a wall of thorns around the three of them.
Jia Me looked at the wall of thorns, and her eyes narrowed; she then bit her lip in nervousness. 'He has cut off all my escape routes.' she thought and looked at the bald guy with hatred.
She has barely managed to defeat Duan Bo and now this new guy was here with such unique beast. And the worst part about all this was she couldn't even see his beast.
"Hahaha... Are you wondering where my beast is?" As if reading her thoughts the bald guy asked with an amusing smile on his face.
Jia Mei stayed silent and raised her brows at him. She was constantly looking for a plan to escape this situation. She just needed more time.
The bald guy understood her thoughts and laughed out again. "I am Qian Geming from Akrucia Empire, and this is a teammate; I have watched your fight and wanted to try my hands too, but it's too bad that Duan Bo already exhausted you; now you are only useful to satisfy my lust." He said and chuckled.
His gaze moved over her chest, and then her ample lower area, and an excited expression appeared on his face.
"Duan Bo, oh Duan Bo, you have caught an excellent plaything for me; if not for the time limit of seven days, I would have enjoyed her thoroughly." He said and sighed.
Jia Mei gritted her teeth at his words; this was humiliating to her; these guys were considering her a thing to play with instead of a human; they had no compassion.
"Fuck off, don't kill her before I use her." Duan Bo suddenly coughed up blood and sat up on the ground; he looked back at his unconscious beast and called it back into his beast space.
"Hehehe... If you beg me, then I can let you have her dead body for a minute; I hope you can last for one minute." Qian Geming laughed and then pointed his hand at Jia Mei.
"Miss Jia Mei, I hope you can cooperate with me; I don't wanna hurt you too much; after all, it would be messy to please myself when your body is all covered up with blood."
Jia Mei looked at him, and then her eyes narrowed; her heart started beating at a rapid pace, and she stepped back because, around his ring finger, she could see a small insect-like being.
It was like a centipede but completely brown in colour, it was so small that one needed to look for it actively to find it on Qian Geming's body.
'That must be the beast he is using.' She thought and summoned back her Grokie. Although it was exhausted, she had no other way; she had to fight the guy if she wanna leave here with her life.
Qian Geming saw her summoning her beast, and a surprised expression appeared on his face; however, soon, he smiled. "It's good that you haven't given up yet. First, I will kill your beast, then I will violate you, and then I will kill you too; after that, I will give your dead body to my friend. Hahaha... This would be so much fun!" He said and laughed maniacally.
'It's a Kitorootsi! I am in trouble!' Jia Mei thought, she had identified this beast; a Kitorootsi is an insect-type beast and although it's not a spirit beast like her Grokie, it was extremely tough to deal with.
If Jia Mei was in her best condition, she could have defeated a Kitorootsi with some damage to her Grokie; however, now she was already exhausted, and fighting against a Kitorootsi would be akin to fighting a tiger barehanded.
She would surely die if she didn't make a good plan now.
'I am gonna die here?' she gulped her saliva and looked around once more for an escape route.
"Spear Head!"
Just as she took her eyes off Qian Geming, he attacked her instantly; she looked back and saw a fast spear-like thorn coming towards her.
"Pebble Crushing Feather!" She yelled in haste and jumped sideways to dodge the spearhead.
Her Grokie reacted in time and punched the thorn, and because of that, she was able to dodge the bullet like thorn. Otherwise, she would have been fatally injured if this attack hit her.
"Don't dare to doze off when you are fighting with me bitch!" Qian Geming snorted and pointed his hand again at Jia Mei.
"Spear Head!" He said again.
And just like the last time, a spear-like thorn moved towards her at a rapid pace.
"Pebble Crushing Feather!" She ordered her Grokie and it punched the incoming spear while she dodged.
However, this time, she was unable to dodge the Spear Head and the thorn sliced through her left leg.
Although it didn't directly enter her bones, it still scraped off a good portion.
Blood flowed out of her leg and she stumbled on the ground, falling on her butt.
"Ahh..." Grunting in pain she held her leg by both of her hands and bit her lower lip to numb the pain a bit. However, it was not helping, and the pain was making her drowsy.
'Shit! I have to do something!' She thought and looked at her Grokie.
"Spear Head!" However, before she could do or say anything, Qian Geming's voice resounded in her ears, and her heart skipped a beat. His voice was like a calling from the heavens, and she felt like she was gonna die now.
However, in her drowsy state, she still managed to yell some words. "Inverse Moon!"
She knew that her Grokie's energy was already at the bottom, and it would be a miracle if it was able to do another Pebble Crushing Feather, however in her moment of dread, she ordered her Grokie to perform am Inverse Moon, her trump card that she has already used once.
She didn't know if Grokie would be able to perform it or not, but she had no choice other than to take the risk.
She looked at the thorn and closed her eyes. She was preparing for the impact; she knew that the thorn was gonna hit her shoulder as Qian Gaming didn't wanna kill her just now; that was the reason why he aimed for her shoulder.
Dunn!!
However, the impact she was expecting didn't happen, and she suddenly felt her body turning lighter.
She opened her eyes again and saw that her Grokie was glowing with a red light, and the thorn that was coming towards her was floating.
Even Duan Bo and Qian Geming were floating. Qian Geming had a worried expression on his face.
"Grokie..." Tears formed in her eyes. "He is using his core power!" She murmured.
Core power was the life power of a beast, and only the beast with a good connection with their owners could use this power. However, after using this power, they would turn unconscious for at least one month, and in some cases, they might even die, and the beast's soul would be damaged permanently.
"Stop!" She yelled as more and more tears started to fall from her eyes.
"Hehehe... This is amazing. Yes, stop it, or it might die, hahaha...!!!" Qian Geming laughed as he looked at her Grokie. Although he was laughing externally, he was panicked.
He knew the power of Core Energy; he was sure that if the Grokie attacked him with this power, then he would die for sure.
He never imagined that the connection between Jia Mei and her Grokie would be so deep. Only beasts that are ready to sacrifice their soul for their owners can use core energy and it needed an extremely deep connection.
More and More tears fell from her eyes. "Grokie Stop! Or I will never forgive you!!" She yelled again.
It was only now that her beats turned to look at her and turned silent; soon, its power started stabilizing again, and it stopped its attack.
It actually listened to Jia Mei and stopped using its core power midway.
Jia Mei relaxed and quickly ran towards Grokie and hugged it, "Thank God." She cried and de-summoned it.
She then turned around and looked at Qian Geming with her eyes bloodshot. "I am ready to cooperate with you, but don't kill me!" She said with a disgusted expression on her face; she didn't wanna die and she didn't want her beast dead.
Qian Geming stood up from the ground and patted the dust off his body, then a grin appeared on his face. Without speaking he pointed his hand at her.
"Spear Head!"
A spear shot at her.
Jia Mei's eyes widened, and panicking, she dodged sideways, and because of the fact that Qian Geming was not going to take her life, the thorn only brushed past her stomach.
But it still injured her and she fell down on the ground.
