The classroom was abuzz with murmurs as the class was tasked with working on their group project. I sat at my desk, reflecting on the upcoming group presentation. I figured working with Ron wouldn't be easy, especially now that it's in my mind that he's a no-good dirty thief. I glanced across at Kayla, who looked unusually distraught. She did just as badly as Ron did! I guess he's not the only one we need to worry about now.
My thoughts were interrupted by a frustrated sigh from Coraline, our group's unofficial leader. "Ugh..." she muttered, her fists trembling as she clenched a stack of blank papers. "Except for Kyle, no one else did their fucking work!" She exclaimed in frustration. Kayla's eyes welled up with tears. "Kayla! Why did you only finish half of your part? And no fucking excuses or I'll lay you out!"
"I'm sorry, Coraline..." Kayla's voice quivered as she explained, "My computer crashed..." She wiped her eyes, but the tears kept coming.
