Meanwhile, Laston consciousness drifted into his sword space at arrival he immediately could see a heated argument between Splinter and Lexy, Castor seemingly watching the show in excitement.
Approaching the trio confused, "What is going on?" he asked looking at each of them for answers.
"Splinter here wanted to kill Hilston, I stopped him, and his mad about it."
Turning to Splinter in shock; seeing his questioning gaze splinter shouted in a booming voice, "Why would you go into a fight you have no chance of winning, you are a fool, you're careless, and above all you're weak!."
Castor and Lexy were taken aback as they had yet to see this side of Splinter, to them he was a fearless warrior, but seeing Laston get hurt had flipped a switch in him.
Lexy and Castor could relate to how Splinter felt, after all their pride was heavily reliant on the capability of their wielder,
Lexy then roared out for the first time, "You must be mad!"
"I get that you couldn't stand and let your pride as a warrior die, but you should also know the capability of the vessel we occupy, had it been any other human at his level he would have perished just due to your earlier outburst."
"Okay let's say he survives; you would have put him in harm's way by killing that kid."
"Our only job is to protect our wielders, but you almost jeopardized that on your own accord driven by anger, knowing how hard it is to find someone that fills all our requirements"
"As she was done with her outburst silence befell the entire space, even castor who was always the jocker kept a serious face as this was a serious matter even for him"
Splinter being on the receiving end of the scolding glared at Lexy, then at Castor, then at Laston, with a downcasted expression on his face, he disappeared from the gathering.
Lexy then turned to Laston, "his fine! Don't get worked up." Responding with a nod, he proceeded to leave the sword space but with a grave expression turning to Lexy.
With a sigh, she said, "You probably can't leave because currently is not strong enough to house your consciousness, due to the power we used your body can't handle it"
"How long till I recover," Laston asked.
"I don't know much about humans, but Magnus will know more after all he's human," She responded.
Magnus could be seen sitting in a lotus position in an abandoned land space, opening his eyes to see the two approaching figures, he quickly stood up.
Getting to where he was, Laston immediately asked, "Why can't I return to my body?"
Magnus who was not aware of the situation beckoned on Lexy to explain, which she proceeded, "he fought with someone and ...….
Understanding the situation better he then turned to Laston, "Your stuck here because your body is yet to recover from the strain it went through as that attack was well above your capacity."
"Naturally you're at sleep, but his consciousness happens to have drifted here."
"As soon as his body recovers, he should be able to wake up like nothing happened."
"How long do you think I will be here for?" Laston asked.
With a smile, Magnus replied, "You have a special body, give or take two weeks should be enough given how resilient you are, I can't say for sure, as I don't really have access to you like the rest of them."
"Hmmm!" he sighed as he was stuck in here for now.
"What were you up to before we arrived?!"
"Well, here can be boring at times, but am a cultivator and old habits just kick in from time to time."

"The spiritual energy in the surroundings can be impure which would lead us to the process of purifying before absorption, but that process happens to be strenuous and time-consuming, so cultivators after extensive research found a way around that which gave birth to the dual cultivation method."

Magnus could only smile at this point, seeing the innocence in Laston's eyes, he then responded, "No, by sexual contact" he said with a firm face and continued, "The two partners absorb spiritual energy from their yin and yang Qi simultaneously.
Laston now listening with wide eyes stared down at Magnus giving him no chance but to continue, "Dual cultivators are often looked down on because of their method of acquiring their strength."
"Dual cultivation techniques are very expensive, and due to the disparity of cultivation between partners, one may have more than one partner for them to progress."
Laston then narrowed his eyes at Magnus with a suspicious gaze, as if to say he was trying to see through him he then asked, "Do you by any chance have any of those techniques?"
