Isabella Martini - POV
I wanted to take a shower, but I didn't want to close the bathroom because when I do that, the stench of urine and sex becomes overpowering, and I don't think I would survive for even five minutes in there. I walked towards my suitcase and grabbed my toiletries and my pajamas as I glanced at Arlo. He was seated on the double bed, scrolling through his phone.
Thankfully, the bedsheets looked clean, and they smelt like they had been recently washed. "Arlo."
"Hmm."
"I am going to take a shower, but I will leave the door open, so don't peek, all right?" I asked him and this made him look at me. I saw his eyes become a few shades darker, but he quickly looked away.
"Isn't there a lock on the door?" he asked me.
"Well, there is, but the smell in there is so horrible I don't think I would survive if I close that door," I answered, and he nodded his head. I left my pajamas on the edge of the bed and began removing my top.
