Chapter 25 - Names have power's

Zeus looked at Tezcatlipoca and then spoke. "Quick question when Huitzilopochtli spoke a few of his techniques name, or when Hestia did why did then seemed more powerful".

Tezcatlipoca looked at him and spoke. "So you notice simple reason is this, when we scream out of say out techie name have power".

Zeus tilted his head, deep in thought as he absorbed Tezcatlipoca's explanation. "So... when a god calls out the name of a technique, it actually amplifies its strength?"

Tezcatlipoca nodded with a faint smile. "Exactly. By shouting the name of a technique, you're invoking the essence of that power in a more complete way. It's like aligning your intent, your will, and the power of the technique itself. Without the call, about 60% of its true potential is held back. That's why you see even seasoned gods announcing something as basic as a 'Fireball.' It's not just for show."

Hades blinked, finally grasping a truth that had puzzled him for some time. In the future he'd noticed Zeus, along with the other gods, constantly shouting out their moves during battle. He had assumed it was some kind of battle ritual or a habit, but now it made perfect sense.

As Hades processed this, a thought crossed his mind. Why had no one ever told him this? In particular, why had Tiamat never mentioned it? He'd always given his techniques names, but he had never thought to shout them out. Maybe he'd been holding back his own power without even realizing it.

He glanced at Tezcatlipoca, then decided to keep this newfound knowledge to himself for now. Perhaps he'd speak to Tiamat later about it—if there was a reason she hadn't told him, he was curious to know. But for now, it was best to let his siblings focus on their training without knowing just how much potential lay locked in their voices.

Later that night when Sleeping, Hades once again saw Tiamat as she waved at him, as she walked up at him.

Hade looked at her and spoke with a bit of irration. "Why didn't you tell me".

Tiamat blinked for a bit she release the name thing. "You mean the name have power, I thought you already knew".

Hades smacked his four head. "I maybe from the future, but I didn't fight much after the Titanomachy and then the war with Giants, I stayed mostly in the underworld and didn't even fight in the war that ended the world before the reset I was too mad"

Tiamat tilted her head slightly, her glowing eyes softening in understanding. She placed a hand on Hades' shoulder in a gesture that felt almost maternal. "I see. You were consumed by grief, and the weight of the past wars held you back. I understand why you wouldn't have used many of your powers in that time." She let out a gentle sigh, her form shimmering softly in the night. "But now that you know, you'll grow even stronger, Hades. Power isn't just in the gods you face, but in the strength you carry within yourself."

Hades leaned back, his arms crossed, the frustration still lingering in his expression. "It's just... frustrating. The one thing I didn't ask for—was time to prepare. Instead, I had to focus on my duties, and when I tried to fight, I was distracted by too much of the world. Even when I had the strength, I didn't realize my own potential." His voice softened, almost regretful. "I didn't know how much I was holding back."

Tiamat chuckled softly. "It's not too late to learn, Hades. You're not the only one who needed time. Even the gods have to go through their own trials. You've been through enough already. Now is the time to build upon what you have."

Hades looked up at her, her ancient wisdom calming him despite the lingering irritation. "I suppose you're right. But I still have a lot to make up for. The future is a heavy burden."

"Yes, but you will carry it with strength," Tiamat said, her eyes gleaming with an ancient confidence. "Don't think of it as a weight, but as the key to shaping the world you want to protect. And remember, Hades, the gods of the past are not bound to the same rules as the gods of the future. This is your chance to rewrite your story."

Hades smiled, a faint glimmer of resolve in his eyes. "I'll make sure of that."

Tiamat's smile was knowing, almost like a quiet promise. "Good. The path ahead is unclear, but you're not alone. You've got your siblings, and now you've got yourself to trust."

As she began to fade, her form becoming a wispy silhouette against the moonlit sky, she added one final piece of advice. "Oh, and one last thing, Hades… when you shout the name of your technique, make sure you mean it. That's when the power will truly reflect the gods you are."

Hades then looked at Tiamat. "I think the big question is... Will the future go as it did".

Tiamat looked at him and spoke. "Probably not, your the youngest child when you should have been the oldest, your meeting a lot gods in your day's unlike your older day's, and not to mention with this trip the war with the Titan wouldn't be on my the Greek Vs Greek war".

Hades sighed as he spoke. "A already knew that, I don't care anymore this so far seemed like a better future I am just trying to stop the apocalypse in the future".

Tiamat's eyes softened as she regarded Hades, her immense wisdom reflected in the quiet understanding of her gaze. She could sense the deep conflict within him, the burden of knowledge weighing heavily on his shoulders. "You're right," she said softly, "The future will not be the same. But that doesn't mean it won't be better."

Hades looked up at her, his brow furrowing. "Better? How can you say that? Every time I look ahead, I see the same fate coming for all of us—the end of everything. The apocalypse. How is this any different?"

Tiamat smiled, a rare, gentle expression that softened her normally formidable presence. "Because you're here now, Hades. You're actively shaping the future with every choice you make. The gods around you aren't the same as before. You've met them in ways you never would have, and together, you're learning to see the world through different eyes. This… this is your chance to change things." She took a step closer, her presence radiating comfort, yet an undeniable strength. "The Titans, the Olympians, the other pantheons—each of you is learning from one another. There's a possibility for cooperation now, something that didn't exist before. You've always been bound by the past, but this new path you're on could lead to something entirely different. You are not doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past."

Hades stared into her glowing eyes, searching for any sign of doubt or uncertainty. But there was none. Her words carried weight—wisdom born from an existence that stretched back long before the wars and the darkness that he had endured.

"I wish I had your certainty," Hades muttered under his breath. "But what if it's not enough? What if I fail?"

Tiamat's expression softened further, the deep-rooted compassion of a mother figure emerging. "You won't fail. Not as long as you keep moving forward. And you're not alone in this. Not anymore. You've already seen what unity between the gods can do. Trust in that power, trust in your choices. You might not have been the oldest, but you carry strength that is yours alone—strength that no one else has."

Hades' mind raced, grappling with the weight of his responsibilities. His past had been marked by isolation, by the necessity of doing things alone. But now, things were different. This new alliance between gods, these relationships he was building with beings from every corner of existence—it was something entirely new, something he never expected.

"Maybe you're right," Hades murmured, a flicker of hope in his voice. "Maybe this is a better future. But I still have doubts. I don't know if I'm ready for everything ahead. The burden of the future is heavy, even with others by my side."

Tiamat's smile remained, a knowing one. "You don't have to carry it alone. As long as you remember that, you'll find a way. Just as the world can change, so can you. And remember this, Hades: The future is never set in stone. It is always shaped by the choices you make."

With those final words, Tiamat faded into the night once more, her form dissolving into the stars. But Hades stood there, staring up at the sky, his mind heavy with the weight of the possibilities—and the uncertainties—that lay ahead.

For the first time in a long while, he felt a spark of something. Perhaps it was hope. Perhaps it was the idea that, even with all the forces of fate against him, he could make a difference. That he could change the course of things, not just for himself, but for everyone.

And with that thought in mind, Hades took a deep breath, preparing himself for whatever the future held.

Tiamat then looked at him. "So now what"

Hades looked at her. "... Waith no please no more trai-"

He was cut as Tiamat punched him the strong, a few hourse of training Hades has learned to the scream out his powers name, as he then woke as he looked he was drained wich was weird he had full energy. As hades had waken up he was happy no longer in the dream world with Tiamat any more

Demeter also woke up, as she saw her brother. "You ok littler Brother"

Hades got up and looked at her. "I had... Interesting dream's".

Demeter looked at him and patted her head. "ok, I will not ask still when do you think we will return to the Greek side of the god world, when will.. fight father"

Hades sighed and looked at her. "I don't know sister, but one thing is clear onces we do return we are going to be much stronger".

Demeter rolled her eyes. "Says the one who is a force of nature"

Hades chuckled softly at Demeter's remark, stretching his limbs as he stood up. Despite the strain of his training, he could feel the power surging within him, and for the first time in a long while, it didn't feel like an overwhelming weight. It felt like control.

"Trust me," Hades said with a smirk, wiping the exhaustion from his brow. "Even I have my limits. But... you're right. Once we get back to the Greek side, we'll be ready. We've all learned more in these past days than we ever could have in centuries of isolation."

Demeter raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "And you're sure this... alliance with all these other gods will make a difference? I mean, they're strong, sure, but they're not Greek."

Hades nodded, his face turning more serious. "They're not Greek, but they are gods. And some of them... have powers beyond anything we've faced before. We can't afford to fight alone anymore, Demeter. If we're going to face our father, if we're going to change the course of this war, we need to unite. Not just as gods, but as brothers and sisters—in a way we've never done before."

Demeter sighed, though there was a hint of understanding in her gaze. "I suppose you're right. But I don't know if I can forgive them so easily. I mean, they are the ones who caused all this mess in the first place."

Hades' expression softened. "I get it. I really do. But we don't have time to hold onto grudges. If we're going to win, we have to work together, no matter how hard it is. We've all made our mistakes, Demeter. Even Father."

Her eyes flickered with unease at his words. "But if we don't... if we lose..." she trailed off, her voice carrying the weight of their shared past. The betrayal, the broken family, the endless wars.

Hades placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We won't lose. Not this time. You've seen what we're capable of now. You've seen the others. Together, we're unstoppable."

Before Demeter could respond, the distant sound of a familiar voice caught their attention.

"Enough talking," Zeus called from the other side of the camp, a grin plastered on his face. "You two ready to go? We've got a lot of work ahead of us if we're going to be ready when the time comes."

Hades and Demeter exchanged a quick glance before making their way toward Zeus. The tension in the air was palpable, but there was also an undeniable sense of purpose, of anticipation.

Hades sighed, looking up at the sky as he walked. "I guess it's time we get ready. For the war that's coming... and for whatever else we'll face."

Demeter walked beside him, her expression set, though a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "I hope you're right. But I swear, Hades, if I have to deal with one more 'training' session, I might just lose it."

Hades laughed, the sound echoing through the camp. "You and me both. But I think we're going to need every bit of strength we can get."

Zeus turned to them, his smile widening. "You'd better be ready. The Titans may be one problem, but our father... well, he's going to be a whole different kind of battle."

"Don't worry," Hades said with a sly grin. "We'll be ready for him."

And with that, the three of them set their sights on the journey ahead, knowing that no matter how difficult the path, they would face it together—stronger, wiser, and united in a way they never had been before. The future was uncertain, but for the first time in a long time, they felt ready to take it on.
