Chapter 51 - 50. Recap

….

Ok I think I have an idea, luckily the notification has an

So I'm going to do the following, pretend to ignore the message, wait until more than 70% of the NPCs are at least level 10 and the reconstruction of Black Oak Village is complete, another cool thing is that there is a progress bar there but fortunately There is no time limit.... better not to question why that is.

Yes, there is a risk that if I click on the quantity wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

A quick recap, for the first few days in the game nothing happened. I spent a week practically just watching the villagers living around and patting one or the other (about 5 in particular), then for no apparent reason an event was triggered where what looked like a nobleman with the knights tried to abuse a girl in the tavern from the village, I intervened and ended up killing the nobleman and the knights (and my finger hurt for some strange reason, it seemed like my cell phone had some defect that fixed itself later).

Then, one of the villagers who had tried to help and was injured and almost dead was saved by me sending a healing potion (which cost me more than it should have in real money to get in a gacha), even at that time I killed a goblin that was coming in through the villagers' plantations, which I think was the trigger for the next big event.

But even before that, other events were already happening, with new NPCs appearing out of nowhere, all tired, injured and some almost dead, generating another mission (or what I classified as that, since there was no notification) to help these refugees, which Honestly, until now I didn't really understand what happened to them.

So I finally discover how the idle part of the game really works (up until that point I still thought that I had actually been left behind and it would be something more like a virtual fish tank, boring but strangely fun), with the villagers bossing me around. prayers that generated karma (exp) and that could generate secondary missions, as long as there was some specific point of "communication".

Literally moments later I discovered that in addition to prayers, they also sent me offerings that gave me access to another type of currency, sacrificial coins, and I could send some gifts back as thanks.

.... Considering everything I had done so far and the premise of the game, where I was supposed to be a God, I guess you could say I was being too soft. Maybe so, but I like these NPCs so it's not something that bothers me that much, plus I never liked being the cruel type towards NPCs when I was forced to do so by the story.

Anyway, after I sent my first "thank you gifts" another mission was triggered, this time specifically to help Sofi, an NPC wizard but who didn't use her magic unless necessary because of the serious consequences it would have for her (there are I forgot to beg, but with each improvement of both my avatar in the game and the NPCs and characters, some of their story tabs become available when I add them to them in addition to the statuses).

The mission was very simple to help her get ingredients to make a potion and bring her boyfriend (or husband or lover, I don't know) back from the dead, and once again I had to lose real money in addition to the game money, but by doing so I managed to get 2 much stronger characters than most for my collection of devotees and fanatics (I still don't really like saying that, even if it's just to my own mind).

Next came the big event of defending the base from a goblin horde, not that I managed to do much about it, I just watched the village prepare by making traps, weapons and training. I could only send a few things that I thought would be useful, such as linen cloths for bandages and accumulating divine power beyond karma to help when necessary.

The event is over, with some losses, almost losses (Sofi's almost death) and some additions (Liem Sofi's... love interest?, and Sofi's promotion to champion). Then came the last most important events, dealing with a bunch of dissatisfied people (including the 5 that I punished most frequently) which ended up giving me some more... elite NPCs?. At the same time making me choose an Oracle and a Saint, both being special positions in the "church structure", as well as the guardians (for now only Sofi).

And finally, the help for the reconstruction of the Black Oak town and the decision to advance the era, which in the game would be 5 years and out here 1 month (could it change that much in just 5 years? Well, being a game…)

Ufffa, really considering everything, I think it would be better not to advance and continue playing normally, even if it returns to the initial state similar to a virtual aquarium. Although with my Oracle this won't happen as I can send instructions to her once a day (in the game), albeit in a very limited way.

There is one more thing that I forgot to mention and that I discovered recently (like literally 5 minutes ago), when the Saint and the Oracle are together, it creates a synergy effect that allows me to see the best class for the villagers, like who have more chances of becoming hunters, farmers, blacksmiths, etc.

I think this happens because the Saint can act as a kind of advisor to the NPCs and guide them towards the best path, while the Oracle serving as a bridge between mortals (NPC) and the divine (players, in this case me) would allow us to see the best professional path and send instructions to the Oracle who would pass it on to the Saint and finally to the NPC.

However, doing this ends up consuming my daily communication with the Oracle, but in return I can replace the communication with something that is even more precious, sacrificial coins. Hhhhaaaaaa, I have to decide if I prefer to send instructions to the NPC community in general or be specific to just one person, or be able to focus on different people at the cost of premium currency. It's always like that, isn't it?!

One positive side is that now I also have a chance at 10 free gachas, but only once a day (normal time).... Well better than before I think.

Well I think that covers everything that has happened to me in the game so far. Hmmmm, I think from there I can make some strategies and conjectures about what will happen, but it's better not to let my guard down. There's no way of knowing when the next chain events will start, so I can only do what I can to prepare, make the NPCs specialize and level up as much as possible and build a temple in the neighboring village, so I'll have another source of "passive income".

How long could this take?

******************************

A/N: And finally the first part is over!!!

It took longer than expected but it came to an end. Thank you everyone for reading the story so far and a special thank you to Araragi_Koyomy for sending so many Power Stones, thanks.

The next part will expand the world more and introduce more characters so.... Get ready for even more names.

Let me know if I make a mistake, forget or add something that looks strange, because I'm sure it will happen.

Just a little thing, I don't think I'll be able to publish daily, but I'll try at least 3 or 4 weekly, it'll just have to be done randomly, sorry.

Thanks again you ALL, ser you later, and enjoy the reading.
