It's been about 2 days since the missions continued, since then nothing very shocking has happened except the first caravan of goblin merchants appeared, there was a little confusion with the people from the Black Oak village and them but nothing serious. It seems that relations with them are stable but still precarious, which is not surprising since in the game they would have just come out of a war.
In addition to at least 2 altars in the village were also finished, one in the center of the east square and the other in what to me looks like a park in the west or would it be better to call it the entrance to the forest?. No matter, also worth noting is that the temple in the village has also been completed, and it is to say the least... exotic?
To me it vaguely reminds me of a baroque Catholic chapel but also with oriental elements, the ceiling is vaulted like any chapel but the entrance is decorated in a style reminiscent of Buddhist temples in addition to some of the pillars also having this similarity.
An interesting thing is that this is the only building that allows me to see inside it and there all the NPC emojis disappear and turn into words, several of them thrown around aimlessly and without much context, but you can already see that the developers really took the idea that Temples would be places where the gods would listen to mortals more literally.
Other than that things were somewhat calm, some of the refugees returned (mostly young people who had not been called to fight) while the other remained in the village helping with what they could, which was a good thing since the blessing I gave was very efficient, the fields produced 1 full harvest every 3 days for them. All the silos and warehouses were full and there was still food left, which was promptly taken by the second (or third) group that returned with the help for reconstruction.
For my Devotees and fanatics, things were both calm and extremely busy, Ivan, Matt and the group of archers (which I think are better called Rangers rather than archers), were making rounds on the outskirts of the village to ensure that the group of goblins had left the area for good, they even managed to find their camp and track down to what could be their starting point but they didn't get very far.
Right at the end a warning appeared saying dangerous area, not an area covered with a dark mist like usually an entire area in red, fortunately it seems that this was a mechanic applied to NPCs too and they came back as soon as they got close to it.
Furthermore, they also kept themselves very busy hunting animals and some bestial monsters (like the boars that Ivan had given as an offering before). The rest of them Gerard, Agatha (Constance and Matt's mother), Sofi, Liem, etc., kept themselves busy taking care of things in the village. Hannah and Constance practically moved into the temple with Matt and Queliand, where they became responsible for... "guiding" the residents, and they were responsible for their safety (not that Hannah needed it, but it was a matter of appearance or mandatory mechanics). .
By logic I thought that Sofi, being a champion, would also have to move to the temple, but apparently not, she continued calmly in her hut full of herbs with Liem (and even though I can't see what would happen there, almost all At night a little balloon with a heart appeared... it's not difficult to imagine what they did after almost everyone went to sleep, the same balloon that sometimes appeared in the temple, why is that, right?( ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ)).
I was already very comfortable with how things were going and I was about to click yes on the notification about advancing the era (clicking the X caused it to be filed in an envelope icon that has been flashing all the time since that day). But when you always decide to do something.

Why does something like this always happen when you are going to do something???!!!!
And because they are emergencies, I cannot even decide whether to accept them or not. Now the question is which one to do first and I have to choose quickly, time is running out.

Ok, quick decision, which one has more rewards and bigger penalties?
Obviously the first one that appeared and it is also very explicit, "asking for justice or doom" to me it is very obvious that some new NPC is being targeted by something bad and is asking to help him or put an end to those responsible which is super in line with the skills I have so far, so it's already clear how to do the first one.
The problem is the second, it says "asking for help in the face of an imminent crisis" but it doesn't specify the type of crisis, whether it's an attack by an animal, by bandits, weather, hunger, illness or injury, this can be a bit complicated.
But for now I'm going to focus on what I have to do now.
As soon as I clicked on the first notification, the zoom I had on the village disappeared and it became a shapeless green dot about 3 cm in a sea of black mist with a small part in red. Soon the camera centered on a point further north with a red [!] sign in the middle of nowhere, I clicked on it and the camera zoomed in which soon opened up a small area for me, and I could see the old human silhouettes that I could vaguely see. -differentiating sex by shape, the "classic" appearance of classic NPCs that doesn't have any kind of belief in me. With the difference that, in the center of the screen, there were already two more pixelated characters, a man and a woman, it seemed.
I stood still for a while to better understand what was happening, when I noticed that several of the NPCs were throwing some things at the two in the center of the screen, I couldn't see what they were but each hit took -0.5 or -1 off their HP. , looking closer I could see that most of the things they threw were at the man and the woman tried to stop him from hitting him.
When I zoomed in I noticed he was a little chubby, not even remotely like the nobleman who was on top of Constance before or the imp/goblin, but still a little obese. With the zoom you could also see that he seemed to have some spots on his face, maybe pimples or warts (or as close as you could get to that in the game) and different colored eyes. But the most important thing I noticed was that several of the people around were showing laughing, angry and disgusted emojis and pointing at the two in the square.
.... Um, I understand.
I think I understood what was happening.
Very well, the question now was not 'what to do', but 'how to do it'. Just throw a Lightning Bolt and pulverize those who were throwing things at the two or use Punishment and make them suffer a little. I'll be honest and say that my sadistic side is very sad to not be able to see the expression of pain and fear on the faces of those I use Punishment, but my more rational side is actually happy about it, who knows what that would do to my stimulated sadistic side.
Ultimately, decisions need to be made and preferably quickly. Since this is not the only mission I have, nor is it the only one with a time limit.
