"Let me help with that," He said, reaching out to help her.
"Huh!" She almost jumped up in fear.
"Did I startle you?" Daven couldn't help but smile.
"No. I wasn't startled." She frowned.
Daven stood right in front of her and tried to take the bandage off but she moved her hands away from him.
"I can handle it myself." She said, pulling the first aid kit away from him with her other hand.
"Yes, but let me help you." He said.
"No, no. That wouldn't be needed."
"It would make things ten times faster, easier, and less painful if I do." He said, still reaching out to help.
"I said NO! Thank you!" she spat.
"Why? Are you scared of your husband?"
Adriana rolled her eyes at his words.
"We both know I fear no one," she said, then continued unwrapping the arm.
"Ah!" She yelled. She had pulled it a bit too hard and it was bleeding all over again.
