"Where are we going?" Adriana asked when Daven started driving out of the house.
She was resting lazily in the front seat, her eyes were barely open but she felt a bit stronger than she did inside.
"They'll cut your head off if you step into that house," Daven said as he drove away.
"But I didn't poison her," Adriana whispered. She was almost in tears.
Daven didn't say a thing, he just kept driving, his eyes fixed on the road.
This made Adriana feel even worse. She doesn't really care whether they accuse her or not, but Daven not believing her made her feel extremely bad.
"You think I did it?" She asked as Daven drove into the hotel gates.
"Wait here," He said, completely ignoring her question.
He picked his cards and went into the hotel.
Adriana had the crazy urge to run away. To leave the car and go away from Daven.
While stuck in her thoughts, she heard her door open.
"Come," Daven said, helping her out.
