Each word Eric spat made me even more mad. His words made the scorching sun that we were under burn even harder.
"Okay, fine. Daven is a bad person. I get it. Bye," I said, turning on my heels.
"Wait!" Eric raced to my front to block me.
"Adriana," He said, holding my hands.
"I know it's hard to trust me after what I did to Daven."

"Well, it's hard for me to trust you after you betrayed my family too." he said, "But that's what marriage is about, Ady; I want this marriage to work."
Whatever Eric was saying was bullshit. There's no way I'll go back to that place.
