"HOW DARE YOU! ARE YOU IMPLYING I CHEATED ON MY HUSBAND!?"
The Elf Queen's voice boomed through the hall as her gentle figure excluded a murderous aura.
"I wasn't implying it. I only suggested it. You implied it, Your Majesty." Valac didn't so much as flinch in the face of the Elf Queen's wrath. Instead, he met her angry gaze with an arched brow, a calm, almost amused glint in his eye.
"Oh, no offense, Your Majesty. I only meant to clear up any doubts." He smiled innocently, though the effect was rather unnerving given the tension in the room. "After all, no harm in ruling out every possibility, right? And, I think I have enough right to arise this question as the savior I'm claimed to be. If it's a false accusation, I'll bear full responsibility for my statement. And, shall hand myself over to you to punish however you see fit."
