Valac took the antidote from Crystal, raising an eyebrow at her with a smirk as he downed it in one go. It had a tangy, floral taste that left his throat tingling.
"Not bad," he remarked, wiping his mouth, then added with a dramatic sigh, "Could use a hint more sweetness, though."
Crystal blushed, her gaze darting to the floor. "I'll… work on that, sir."
