"She is beautiful, isn't she!"
These were the words that Monica said to Gordon as he also come up to Portensa's side.
Or at least her main body's side. This was what Gordon's connection with his pet was telling him. Before he had woken up after being completely dominated by [Virtual Task Manager] and [Virtual Mind] Portensa had been more of a hive mind then anything else. Now her consciousness had coalesced into this one location. The strangeness of the difference was confusing at first, but within a few moments the initial shock of it faded and he smiled happy that his pet was happy.
"You will find that I gave you a few upgrades, take a look."
Monica said without taking her eyes from Portensa.
Suddenly afraid of what she had done to him Gordon accessed his system interface. He hadn't up to now, sensing that he was going to see a lot of changes. It wasn't that he he felt that the upgrade system would do him harm. It was more that he felt violated.
