Gordon found that he was holding on tight to the back of Monica's blazer and self consciously let go. In the next moment similarly Monica let go of Gordon's sleeves and they both found themselves slipping down the side of Portensa's egg as the room reformed around them.
Different from the sterile and chrome look of before, now the room gained a much more open nature based design scheme. Above their heads an opaque dome formed, dark blue at first, but then it rapidly changed color becoming lighter and lighter until suddenly the color leached out of the dome and a vista of stars opened up. Above them, now they could see the ribbon of the mobius strip entirely circling this control room.
