"Yes, I made some food and took a shower. I should be good for a few days."
Gordon explained the physical preparation he had taken.
But Haruto shook his head.
"No, no, the mental preparation. Have you truly decided how you want to win?"
Stupefied Gordon hadn't expected to face these sort of questions again.
"Sure, I mean, I guess I will just beat anyone that gets in my way."
Haruto clicked his tongue a few times. Obviously he was unhappy.
As for Gordon he was wondering why his SSS rank talent allowed the life forms he sparked with a higher degree of consciousness to be free. At least free enough to act against him if they wished. Sure he had the authority to kill Haruto now. But that didn't mean that Haruto could be insufferably pendantic before dying.
