Eventually the dreamlike travel through the night sky came to an end.
"This is as far as I go."
She told him her face entirely dead pan.
Gordon had to do a double take.
'What???'
Looking at her with a question she smiled.
"I can go no farther. As the protector of this world my soul is bound. And even if my soul wasn't bound to the planet as the last protector I must remain."
Rosy said and then pointed out into space at various points around the planet.
"There are other [Home Ship]s larger and more powerful than this one."
He could not see the [Home Ship]s that she was pointing out. Maybe they had some kind of cloaking mechanism or skill. However, he could see the [Home Ship] that soared through space above them.
