Jessica and Angelica stepped toward each other and began talking. They didn't speak softly, but it was evident in the way they turned away from everyone else that it was a private conversation.
Shrugging Gordon moved away a bit and then was surprised when Joce came up to him. Instantly he was wary. This girl had said some weird stuff up in the [Home Ship].
But the next moment he relaxed a little.
"Gordon, I am sorry for what happened up there."
Joce apologized and nodded with her chin towards the ceiling.
"That was a tough situation."
Non-commitally Gordon temporized.
"Monica had me fooled, thinking that you were really trying to take advantage of me. But right after the [Home Ship] almost self destructed, well, Monica dropped the entire legal and criminal responsibility on me."
As if the very words were distasteful Joce's nose was flaring her distaste for what happened evident on her face.
