Gordon was just so happy to be back with Jessica that he completely put aside all the serious things that needed to be said and just enjoyed being with her.
"Oh, my, Gordon, you wouldn't believe how wonderful all the behemoth's you gave me have been!"
Jessica said and then they went into a long conversation about training regimens and funny little things that the behemoths have done in the last couple days. The time disconnect between the two of them was disconcerting at first. But he found that with being in a coma for more than half the time he was up in the [Home Ship] the actual amount of real time that he had been conscious for hadn't been too much more than Jessica.
When they arrived at the airport, it wasn't too long until Gordon was stalked and jumped on by Ren. She gave him a big hug and snuggled down into his arms.
"I missed you!"
Defenselessly she told him stuff.
