The place instant fell silent.
"She didn't want to leave, so I pushed her. It's not my fault that she refused to leave when I asked her too!" The little boy continued in a shaky voice, before suddenly bursting into tears.
The parents who had caused a ruckus because they thought Kelsie and her children were the ones at fault, felt their face fall at the sudden confession.
So they had judged her wrongly.
However, despite the boy's confession, his mother was having none of it and was actively kicking the officers in front of her as she tried to run past them.
When she realized, they weren't budging, she glared at the middle-aged officer standing in front of her son and hissed, "What do you think you're doing? You're forcing him to say those things. My son didn't do does things!"
"He's only admitting to it because you're scaring him. Just you wait, once this is over, I'll make sure you lose your goddamn job!"
