After saying that, Kelsie turned and gently took Keira, who had dozed off at the end of the movie, into her arms.
Unfortunately for Jesse and Zade, the theater was still too crowded and noisy to hear a word Kelsie and Jett were exchanging.
But given the sudden furious look in Jett's eyes, it was quite obvious the talk wasn't going the way they expected.
Jett had suddenly understood that Kelsie was saying he was into men. As if what she said wasn't enough, she even added that she could never be into a man like him.
Then she bowed to him slightly and left the theater with the boys in tow.
As soon as they left, Jett's hand moved to his tie as he distractedly loosened it.
Then he abruptly paused and laughed in disbelief.
He placed a hand on his waist and pointed at himself with the other as he repeated bitterly, "Gay? Me?"
