Momon and I stood in front of a large manor at the outskirts of the city. It's a fancy manor that is both ancient and well kept at the same time.
Momon knocked on the door for a moment. Footsteps appeared from the manor and a blonde haired girl opened the door. On the outside, she might look like a very beautiful noble lady. But on the inside, she is actually one of the most cruel and sadistic maid in Nazarick.
"Good afternoon, Solu chan!" I exclaimed.
Solution looked between me and Momon before her eyes widened in realization. "Ainz sama!" she bowed deeply in front of him. "Forgive me my lord, I didn't know you would be coming," she stepped aside a little. "Please, come in."
Momon nodded a little. "Thank you, Solution," the two of us walked into the manor and into the large fancy hallways. "By the way, call me Momon. I'm a distant relative of yours," he then gestured at me. "And this is Lily, Nabe's little sister."
"Nice to meet you, Solu chan!" I exclaimed.
Solution looked at me with a judging look on her face. "Nice to meet you too, Lily…"
"Play nice you two," Momon said. "Also, is Sebas around?" he added.
Solution shook her head. "No, Sebas is currently away," she said. "I'll notify him to return immediately."
"There's no need for that Solution," Momon said. "I'm sure that whatever it is, it must be important," he added.
There was a hint of anxiety coming from Solution. "Yes, it has to be," she led us to the guest room and gestured Momon and I to sit down. She was about to sit down when she realized that Ainz is a human now. "Ai-Momon sama… Should I get you something to drink?"
"That would be polite wouldn't it?"
Solution was about to bolt out of the guest room when someone stepped in with a tray full of tea and biscuits. It is a blonde haired girl with bright blue eyes wearing simple maid uniform. She looked at us for a moment before putting down the tray on the table.
"Ah, thank you very much…"
"It's Tuare,"
"Thank you very much Tuare san," Momon said before taking a sip. "Why don't you sit down? I'd like to know more about you," he looked at Solution. "Ne, Solution?"
Solution gulped a little. Her body trembled in fear at the thought of angering or even being accused for hiding something from the Supreme Being. "Sebas…" she said, trying to get the blame elsewhere. "It was Sebas, he brought her and healed her because… I don't know…"
"It is all within Ainz sama's expectations, Solution," Momon said with a calm smile on his face. "Sebas is a creation of Touch Me, he cannot stop himself from helping the weak," he took another sip of the tea before looking at Tuare. "Ah, forgive me, you must be very confused right now."
Tuare nodded a little mutely.
"Just do me a favor, everything spoken in this room, stays in this room," Momon said. "Do you understand?"
Tuare nodded again.
"Then, let's continue," Momon looked at Solution once again. "Ainz sama told me that your reports has been so far, quite satisfactory and from that, we can start taking a more… active approach," he turned towards me. "Tell them the plan Lily."
I nodded a little. "Yeah, so, Ainz sama in all his wisdom and intellect has devised a clever strategy to get you a Noble seat in the kingdom," I explained. "To get there, we need to get a hold of the criminal organization, the Eight Fingers. That's why Ainz sama sent Sebas on this mission. His sense of justice will never let injustice happen in front of his eyes and that 'injustice' might lead us to the Eight Fingers."
Solution just looked at the two of us with wide eyes. She bowed deeply in her seat. "As expected of the Supreme Being, we truly could never hold a candle to yo… his supreme intellect and wisdom," she said.
"That is not all," I said. "After having Sebas lead us to the Eight Fingers, we will take over their organization. Demiurge can probably 'persuade' them, if you know what I mean," the smirk on Solution's face tells me that she knew exactly what I mean. "Now, since the Eight Fingers have a good position in the Kingdom, it shouldn't be hard for us to turn you into a Noble."
Then, Solution seems to realize something. "Forgive me, but I do not understand why you need me as a noble. Wouldn't it be easier to just use the Eight Fingers as a puppet?" she asked.
I blinked owlishly at her question. I looked at Momon and found him giving me a 'Don't you dare!' look. "Momon sama, your servant hasn't been told about the reason you need Solution as a noble," I told him.
"Oi, oi, I don't know anything!" Momon exclaimed telepathically as he make a thinking pose.
"Just make something up! Put faith into your 999 luck stat!"
Momon looked at Solution and took a deep breath. "The Eight Fingers might make a great puppet, but they are still a criminal organization. Ainz sama wanted someone he can truly trust to be his eyes in the Kingdom and that would be you Solution," he said.
The Predator Slime blushed a little after hearing that. "I promise that I won't betray yo-Ainz sama's trust," she bowed a little.
"Speaking of trust," I looked at Tuare and smiled at her sweetly. "It's such a shame you and Sebas didn't trust the Supreme Being enough to tell him about her," I tilted my head and turned towards Solution. "Ne, Solu chan, did you not trust us?"
"No! I wouldn't dare!" Solution gritted her teeth. "It was Sebas, he told me not to keep her existence a secret. I realized that it was a mistake on my part for listening to him," she glared at Tuare. "Give me the order and I'll dispose of her immediately."
Momon held up his hand. "No need for that Solution," he said. "I'd like to hear this from Sebas himself. Someone has to teach him to clean up his own mess."
As if realizing what Momon just implied, Solution nodded a little. "I understand," she looked at Tuare. "Then what should we do with her?"
"Nothing," Momon said. "Just let her be. I'll be waiting for Sebas to return here," then another thought appeared in his head. "Say, Tuare san, can you cook?" he asked her.
Tuare nodded hastily as if the mere mention of her skill can do any good. "Y-yes, I can cook."
"Would you be a dear and get us something to eat?"
Tuare hurriedly walked out of the room.
"You think she can make Nazarick food?" I commented nonchalantly.
"No, but if it's good enough, I might be kind enough to give her my mercy," Momon chuckled a little. "You could say that her fate rests upon her cooking skills."
"I thought being a human would turn you into a goody two shoes?"
"It doesn't change my Karma rating Lily."
I laughed a little after hearing that. Looks like Momonga truly has a talent for being an Evil Overlord. Both as a Skeleton and as a Human.
