"Please listen to me, I didn't do anything." Mia begged as Lysander pulled her out of the crowd. The music thumped loudly around them, drowning out the chaos of the crowd but all she could hear was her own heartbeat.
"How did she end up there? How did she get there? How did she end up in the room with a total stranger?"
Questions she didn't have any answers to flooded her mind.
"Please, there has been a mistaken," Mia begged, tugging on his arm. "Even if it's just for a second."
He pulled her to an isolated area on campus.
His jaw was clenched, his eyes darkened with an intensity that made her shiver in fright. She had never seen him like this before. She has never seen him look at her with such fury.
"You don't understand," Mia said softly, trying so hard not to cry.
Everything was going on so well between them. They had even gone to the carnival a few days ago, but why was everything going downhill.
