Lysander let Mia stay in his arms until she calmed down before gently lifting her to the bed. Lysander didn't care that she was wet and his bed would get wet.
He quickly retrieved a towel and started to pay her dry. Whiles do that, she checked her body for any scars or bruises, aiming to count them and multiply it for those who hurt her.
He was already planning on different ways to torture them, fortunately for them and unfortunately for Lysander, he didn't find any.
Minutes later, after he covered her up with his shirt, Alaric walked in with a tray of food.
"Thank you," Lysander said to which Alaric nodded in response.
"Hi Mia," Alaric greeted with a small wave but Mia kept looking straight ahead, as if she didn't hear a thing.
"What if wrong with her?" Alaric asked with a frown.
"Those assholes did something to her," Lysander replied through gritted teeth. I won't spare them.
