Chapter 46:
As they emerged from the warehouse, Frudi's eyes scanned the surrounding area, searching for any signs of danger. But the coast seemed clear, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thanks for getting me out of there, kiddo," her uncle said, clapping her on the back.
Frudi smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. "No problem, Uncle. But we're not out of the woods yet. We need to get you to a safe place."
Her uncle nodded, and together they made their way to the waiting jet, which was fueled and ready to take off. Alex and the others were already on board, and they helped Frudi and her uncle settle in.
As the jet soared into the sky, Frudi felt a sense of relief wash over her. They were finally safe, or at least, safer than they had been in the warehouse.
Her uncle leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes. "Thanks, Frudi. I owe you one."
