Frudi's eyes fluttered open, greeted by a sea of white. She blinked, disoriented.
"Oh no, no, no! This can't be!" Frudi wailed, her voice echoing off the walls.
Alex, Sergio, Leo, and Roland exchanged amused glances, standing around her hospital bed.
"What's wrong, Frudi?" Alex asked, trying to stifle a grin.
"I'm dead!" Frudi sobbed. "I knew it! I can't die now! I have to stay alive!"
Sergio chuckled. "You're not dead, Frudi. You're just... slightly dramatic."
Frudi's tears halted momentarily. "Slightly dramatic? I'm in a hospital, aren't I? That means I almost died!"
Leo chuckled. "You just got knocked out last night, Frudi. You're fine."
Roland added, "And you've been repeating 'I can't die now' for the past five minutes."
Frudi's face flushed. "Shut up! This isn't funny!" But her lips twitched, betraying a smile.
The guys laughed, relieved Frudi was okay.
