Frudi sat in her room, her mind still reeling from the news she had seen during breakfast with her dad. She quickly grabbed her phone and dialed Alex's number.
"Alex, can you come to my room?" she asked, trying to keep her voice calm.
Alex arrived promptly, a look of concern on his face. "What's wrong, Frudi?"
Frudi's eyes were wide with worry. "Alex, have you seen this?" she asked, holding up her tablet.
Alex's expression turned grim as he walked over to Frudi. "What is it?" he asked, his voice low.
Frudi showed him the news article about Dylan's accident. Alex's eyes scanned the page, his face growing darker by the second.
"I know," he said, his voice tight. "Daniel called me yesterday and told me about it. But he disconnected the call before we could talk more."
Frudi's eyes narrowed. "I think I know why he disconnected the call. Maybe his dad was there, or someone else was listening."
