Julius was a little hesitant to buy the ring at first, thinking it might've been a little much considering how it hadn't even been a year since he started dating Agares.
When he expressed his concerns to his friends, Amélie told him that some couples liked to get couple rings as a sort of promise between the pair. It didn't carry any significant weight like an engagement ring would, but it was meaningful enough to express your feelings to your partner. With that in mind, Julius felt more confident, and went with the purchase. Since he didn't want the ring to be the only thing he gave him, Julius also decided to cook dinner for the two of them, which worked out perfectly since his parents would be away for the weekend, and they would have the house all to themselves.
