"Charlotte dear," Grandma Isa called out to her.
"Grandma," Charlotte rushed over to her side. Charlotte visited the hospital today after getting a call from the management that her mother had awoken. Jeffery sat at the other side of the bed. Their mother snored peacefully in her sleep. Charlotte resisted the urge not to snuggle her in a tight hug.
"Come here my baby," Grabdma spread her arms apart anticipating a hug from her dearest Granddaughter who has been away for months. Charlotte ran into her embrace and snuggle her instead. Her wrinkled skin against Charlotte, a tear dropped.
Maybe this is what she needed in a while, considering the huge step she had taken to improve their living conditions, the fact she has been living in hell and under the same roof with satan. She hung onto her Grandmother for a good amount of time.
