Alice sat next to this guy who had been stealing glances at her and then facing the book in front of him. She got curious as to what he was doing and decided to take a look.
But he looked like he was so deep in thought and deeply engrossed in what he was doing to notice she was in front of him, so when he raised his head to try to peak at her one more time, he found her face right in front of his, and that startled him.
"So, would you like to tell me what you've been up to?" Alice asked, dropping her chin on her palm once more while looking at him with eyes filled with curiosity, but he was scared.
What if she got mad that he had been secretly stretching and writing about her? What if she came to hate him?
He did not want that. But... He could not exactly lie to the first question she was asking him. She was his muse.
'Act natural. Act natural.' He sang in his head.
