"And for the record," Leo said, glancing down at her. "I only went easy on you because I am at fault for something. I would've returned your punch with a punch but I didn't. So, I believe now we're even."

Alice heard Leo's words and an irk formed on her forehead.

"This bastard," She looked like she would blow a fuse but before she could even think of doing so, someone grabbed her arm and lifted her up in one easy thug.

"Alright," It was Mark. "I think that's enough messing around."

Alice glanced at him. Ah, up close, he looked so good in that tracksuit.

Wait, that was not the time to think about his looks. Why was he intervening?

She could whip up another punch and hit Leo in the face. She just needed half a second to get ready and reach him.

Maybe this punch should clear his eyes, even if it didn't leave a scratch.
