"Quick question," Alice changed her attitude all of a sudden. Since he had stopped releasing his aura to suffocate Damian, she wanted to be thorough. "You said you beat everyone in this class, right? That's why you're considered the strongest."
"Yes, I did." Lance answered. He didn't know why but he was suddenly feeling uneasy by the way she was asking him questions like nothing had happened between them, when just a moment ago, she was attacking him with her bloodlust.
"How did you do it then?" She asked further. "What did you guys do to determine who's the strongest?"
Lance went silent. Was this a trap? He was very quick to react but in this case, he could not tell if he was falling into a trap by answering her question.
"Answer me," Alice's voice went deep in fury, her eyes blazing angrily, and he rushed to answer,
"The new students get to pick whatever they feel is their strong suit." He said, and Alice nodded.
