"So, gramps, when are you gonna invite me for dinner?" Alice asked and Adolf chuckled.
"I believe I saw this coming." He said, smiling at the little foodie in front of him. "These things never get past you, huh?" He snapped his fingers. Marcus stepped forward and gave her another card with his house address on it. "How's Sunday evening?" He asked. "My grandson will be present, so I'll use the opportunity to introduce you two."
Alice snatched the card from Marcus, looked at it, and said,
"Sounds great." She didn't care who would be present. As long as there was enough food, she didn't mind. But she had her favorite in mind. "I fancy chicken a lot."
"What was that?" Adolf asked and she raised her head, smiling sheepishly.
"I fancy chicken a lot. So, if the main menu could have lots and lots of chicken then I'd be glad." She said, and Adolf nodded.
