"Rose, Lily, will you help me do something?"
Rose's eyes looked at her adoptive father with sparkles before nodding confidently, while Lily could only nod.
Her adoptive father had never smiled happily after their adoptive mother's death. Lily didn't know what happened, but when David picked her up again, his face was no longer smiling as he brought them back to his big house. The house that was originally warm began to turn cold and tense after that. They were not even allowed to meet their new sister again, but the older sister, Rose, seemed not affected by David's drastic change.
"Of course! We will do anything for your happiness."
David's cold eyes lowered to look at Rose when he heard the positive answer. His clear eyes looked back and forth between Rose and Lily before his hands patted their heads one by one.
