Back to Right after Damian left the house,
Damian's POV
I arrived at the basement and walked straight to my office ignoring the greetings of all the lower creatures that worked there. Everything seemed quite peculiar these days. The kids were plotting something I couldn't be bothered to find out, the young Taemoon has awakened so it's been confirmed that Dan really is involved and that person has started getting involved as well.
'hmm, that person. I wonder what she'll do now that she has what she wants' I couldn't help thinking my lips curving in excitement.
"Oh, Master Damian. When did you arrive" I looked up only for my eyes to meet purple ones and I smiled to myself. My best toy so far, almost even better than that person, tilted his head slightly as he stared up at me not breaking the eye contact. It was amazing how he continued to behave so daringly despite the things I've put him through, made the whole process even more fun.
"Yes, we need to discuss our next move. The kids won't stay still for long so we need to move quickly" I spoke finally answering his question as my hand unconsciously made its way to the back of his neck where my fingers caressed the soft skin there. Fin's jaw clenched as he tried to suppress a shiver and I smirked at the reaction. "Let's head back into the office now, shall we?" I raised a brow as I spoke immediately earning a hurried nod from the other. "Of course, let's head in" he muttered turning back around and I let go of his neck so he could open the door.
Once we were inside, I settled down in the couch while Fin closed the door and crossed my legs as my head fell back against the chair.
It's actually been a while since I came here. The elders have been killing off people a lot lately so it is obvious they're planning something. What'll it be? I don't care so I won't try to find out, however now that I've discovered the young Taemoon and Dan are related, I can't exactly kill him.
"M-hm, Master Damian" Fin's cough echoed in the room successfully drawing my attention. I raised a brow at him beckoning for him to come closer with my hand. "Y-You were taking too long to speak" his stuttering voice sounded like music to my ears and I smirked as I watched him walk closer to me. "Ah, forgive my absentmindedness. We must proceed with the Taemoon issue but do not kill him" I instructed as he settled down on the ground in front of me making my smirk grow. He always knew just what I wanted from him.
"So we're capturing him" he stated while I stared at him. He sighed tilting his head slightly so his overgrown hair fell back exposing his nape, he was tempting me for a reason. What would make Fin give up himself for? Oh it's a who... My pulse quickened as blood began to course through my veins speedily, my vision was already turning red and I could feel the dull ache in my gums that signalled the elongation of my fangs. I clenched and unclenched my hand still staring at his neck.
"Master Damian, how are we supposed to go about it?" He asked, his voice taking on a more innocent yet defying tone which excited me the more. He was turning himself into an irresistible prey and I wasn't going to let him go just because he was plotting with the kids.
Might as well go along since I could always put a stop to them if I wanted. I thought as I placed my pale hand on his exposed neck revelling in the feel of blood flowing through his veins and the feel of how helpless he was with his neck within my grasp.
"Hmm, is his location known?" I asked recalling how the level one reconnaissance group I had sent ahead of my coming to the office had not reported back. "F-for now, but by midnight we should get news" he stuttered with a breathless voice as I tightened my grip on his neck.
Hmmm, they haven't sent news....
My mind drifted to the tall bulky man that had visited along with the young Taemoon and Avory's principal and my head ached a bit when I tried to think up who he was.
Strange, strange, strange.
*Cough* *cough* the sound of Fin wheezing brought me back to my senses and I loosened my hold on his neck giving him room to breathe, I couldn't enjoy the sight of him gasping for air however as I was still calculating my next move. With the presence of this unidentified person, my previous plans might as well be considered trash.
Fin coughed loudly again annoying me in the process as I was still thinking but when I looked at him with his face and neck flushed as he gasped for air while his lips glistened with saliva my primal instinct was once again awakened and the sweet smell of blood rose wafted to my nostrils. His blood has always smelt nice. "Fine, we'll wait for news from the field agents group" I muttered deciding to fuck it and take a bite. I was about to when the voice of the crazy hag from the elders council rang in my head and probably the head of Fin as well as every other clan member.
"Attention! Attention!! It has been decided by the elders council that the clan has been divided for too long and with the advent of the oracle's new prophecy, shall be reunited once more.
Persons afar and persons near, we will create our own world in dimension Z, away from the unaccepting nature and laws of the human creatures, we will stand tall and become stronger and through the Oracle, be led into a new age where all person's are free to be themselves.
A new era for the Kallagha shall be forged and the pains from the past forgotten completely. Through synchronized teleportation rings, we will all make our way to our homeland in Dimension Z on the appointed day. All who do not follow, will be exiled and be considered criminals guilty of treason.
The grace of the Oracle and the gaze of the System remain on you all"
Once the announcement was over, I could only chuckle in amusement. Fucking elders.... I looked down at Fin only to find him trembling violently, his head down and I huffed clicking my tongue.
"Don't worry so much Fin, the only person you have to think so much about is me. Okay?" I warned tightening my grip on his neck again but this time tighter. Fin's hand rested atop mine on his neck as he nodded and I hummed in approval letting go of him before standing up.
"If I'm right, the most likely appointed time is tomorrow so make sure to get the news regarding the young Taemoon before coming to my home in the evening" Fin gasped and wheezed patting his chest as he stuttered a response. I smiled down at him, that'll teach him to be scared of someone other than me. "Okay then, I'll hear from you tomorrow" with that I walked out of the office without glancing back at him.
This is nice.
Third Person POV
In a large overly decorated room with gold colored wall papers and sapphire framed portraits and paintings, a group of women, covered head to toe in cloaks stood round a wide circular table, the only furniture in the room, hands clasped together while incense poured out of a clay pot situated at the centre of the desk. The grave silence and eerie atmosphere were disrupted by the double doors swinging open quite loudly. Most of the young and visibly inexperienced women opened their eyes slightly to peek at what was going on while the elderly ones kept their eyes closed.
"Lady Lin, why do you disrupt the young'uns ceremony?" The shaky yet firm voice of the oldest woman in the circle, who stood at the opposite end of the room, sounded dislike laced in her tone. All the other women(girls) who had open their eyes quickly closed them back to avoid being called out by the old woman while Lin, the beautiful red-headed beauty who had just barged in chuckled silently her eyes shining in amusement.
"You've been doing that for a while now, don't you think it's about time they went into the field?" She replied, her response piquing the interest of all the young girls as some of them gasped in excitement. The old woman said nothing as she released her hands and stretched out her left arm. The incense began to rapidly recede back into the pot until eventually, the room was clear of it and the pot was covered. "You are all dismissed" the old woman instructed and the women, which were mostly just teenage girls and few middle aged ones, scattered about, some rushing out of the room with their friends, some lighting the candles in the room and the rest following the clay pot-bearing girl towards another room.
"Lady Lin, how many times will I warn you about riling the young'uns up?" The old lady sighed deeply as a chair suddenly appeared behind her and she settled down in it.
"Riling them up? I was just making a suggestion" Lin smiled with closed eyes as she walked closer to the old woman. "Ol' Sue, you know it's about time we took back what is ours. Those filthy blood suckers have had their hands on our property for a while and they need to pay" she added her eyes opening fully as her voice took on a more serious tone. Ol' Sue raised a brow not showing signs of being affected by Lin's statement. "You are married to one of them though" she commented completely ignoring Lin's crazed yell, "don't mention that bastard to me. Our marriage was forced and you know it!" She screamed at Sue who simply stared at her with no emotion.
'poor child' she thought shaking her head inwardly as she watched Lin compose herself. "In any case, I have gotten my child back from his clutches so we can proceed with the plan" Lin muttered once she had steadied her breathing, then she smirked "my dearest child will even help with it" she added, for the first time, surprising Sue whose eyes had turned to the door that was being pushed open. Delicate arms were first seen until a petite girl with porcelain like skin accentuated by the red blush on her cheeks and shoulders and entrancing emerald green eyes walked into the room dressed in a turtle-neck sleeveless body suit.
"Ol' Sue, meet my daughter Vie, she will be helping us steal what is most important to those blood suckers" Lin introduced her smirk growing. Sue stared at Lin for a while before moving her gaze to the young beautiful girl who stood facing her, her eye colour was quite peculiar but it had a visible dim in it like whatever life that had been in them was put out and she sighed.
'another poor child'
