Snow seems to start to fall heavier and heavier, as Ayase, Levi, Sylvia and Carl all burden there backs with a heavy load of food and various recourses, that lay beneath wide, make-shift bags. There feet seem to forcefully push through the deep, and thick snow, as there footsteps leave a mark in the snow, before being covered up by more un-inviting snow.
'It's been days now, and yet Teddy is still nowhere to be found.'
Says Carl, who's breath could be seen pouting out of his numb, blue mouth, which had seemed to tremble under the huge amount of frost, and chilling winter snow.
'But we have to keep on going, it's the only way..'
Says Ayase, who is attempting to keep there hopes high, but secretly doubts the fact that there's still a chance of Teddy being alive.
'Ive educated our chances of surviving if we still plan on searching for Teddy, and it's low.'
Says Levi, who is hurdling the lightest bag behind the rest of them, before putting it down.
'we should stop searching and head back to the cave and wait for Barnabas and Craig to come back, it's our highest chance of surviving..'
He says, before laying down on the wet snow, perservering through the immense cold of the thick, wide and seemingly endless forest they are in.
'But if we stop looking, Teddy will end up dying..'
Says Ayase, who is also starting to feel the drawbacks from the frost, that is latching onto her usual warm skin.
But as they all start to get swallowed by the sudden realisation that they may not be able to save Teddy, a loud, earaping, eerie ringing of what could only be described as a large bell being drummed, one beat at a time came echoing from behind Ayase, who had already made her choice to turn back.
As Ayase's head snaps towards the sound instinctively, she is met with the same crow with red, sharp eyes before, where the noise seems to be coming from.
'Do you guys here..'
Before Ayase could continue her sentence, she stutters her words, as nothing but fear spreads through her mind, as Infront of her, there was no longer a crow, but a sharp-eyed, buff, oversized boar, which stared down into the depth of her soul.
'D-dont move..'
Ayase says, her words trembling with terror.
But as Carl turns behind him, pondering what Ayase is talking about, he too is met with undeniable fear, as his body freezes under the terrifying beast Infront of them.
Words can't describe why this beast is more terrifying than any monster they had previously met, that even when Levi and Sylvia turned to face the monster, there cool deminers were swiftly swept away when faced with the horrifying beast before them.
But when all hope seemed to have been crushed, and as there chances of survival was nearing its end, smoke could be seen lifting above the trees, before footsteps came crawling behind the monster, ever so slightly, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.
BANG.
The once overpowering monster was now lying on its legs, as blood poured out of its now blown of head, the snow shifted from bright white, to dark red, all the way down to the shocked, but experienced family, who now stood Infront of a mysterious figure, who stood firmly ontop of the now-dead mutated boar.
There the figure stood, the same ice cold breath coming out of his mouth, but this time in a menacing tone, as his tall, sharpened body stood victorious over the dead beast, his expression seemed to be unfazed.
'I'm Zane, hello.'
