Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: Journey into Sylveria

Hiro was in the middle of his chores, sweeping the courtyard with Elysia beside him, when the door to the mansion swung open. Rose stepped outside, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You two have been working hard. It's time for something new!"

Elysia looked up from her task, her curiosity piqued. "What do you mean, Ms. Rose?"

Hiro straightened, brushing dirt from his hands. "Yeah, what's going on?"

Rose crossed her arms, a playful smirk on her face. "Mr. John has a mission for me. We're heading to Sylveria to help one of his old friends."

Hiro's heart raced. He had heard many stories about Sylveria, the magical country known for its powerful mages and advanced research. It was a place of wonders, filled with arcane knowledge. 'Sylveria huh, I've heard about it. It's where the strongest magician, Klein, resides."'

Rose said, nodding. "And I thought it would be a great opportunity for you both to gain experience."

Elysia's eyes widened. "Wait, are you saying we're going with you?"

"Yes!" Rose exclaimed. "I insisted on bringing both of you. This journey will take at least a month, and it's a perfect chance to learn."

"But we're still young!" Elysia protested, his brow furrowing in concern. "What if we're not ready?"

Just then, Mr. John stepped out of the mansion, overhearing their conversation. "Rose, they're correct, they're still too young for such a long journey. Hiro isn't even a teenager yet."

Rose's expression grew serious, and she stood tall, her voice steady. "Mr. John, you know how strong Hiro has become. The last time we dueled, he almost beat me. His dedication and ability to learn are impressive. And Elysia may not be comparable to Hiro, but her skills far surpass those of most kids her age. They're capable."

Mr. John chuckled softly, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "If it's you who praises their ability so much, what else can I do? Fine, I agree. But you'll have to keep a close eye on them."

"Of course!" Rose replied, a smile on her face. "You won't regret it."

As they prepared for their journey, Hiro and Elysia exchanged excited glances. The thought of traveling to Sylveria filled them with anticipation and a hint of nervousness. Elysia was particularly excited, as this would be her first experience outside the mansion walls. Hiro, on the other hand, felt a mix of emotions. He was eager to explore, but he couldn't shake the feeling of doubt.

Once they finished their chores, Rose led them to the weapon room, a place filled with swords, bows, and other equipment. "Let's pick out your weapons. You'll need them for the journey."

Hiro stepped into the room, his eyes wide with wonder as he gazed at the array of weapons. He moved toward a sword that gleamed in the light. It was well-balanced, a fine blade that felt right in his hands. "This one," he said, lifting it. "It feels strong."

Elysia examined the bows, searching for one that suited her. Finally, she found a lightweight bow that seemed perfect for her smaller frame. "This one! It's not too heavy, so I can use it easily," she exclaimed, her face lighting up with joy.

"Great choice!" Rose encouraged. "You both will do well with those."

With their weapons in hand, they gathered their belongings, preparing for the adventure ahead. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as they loaded their gear onto a cart pulled by sturdy horses.

As they settled into the cart, Hiro took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his sword resting at his side. He thought about all the training he had undergone—the hours spent honing his skills with Rose, the sweat and determination pouring into mastering both techniques. "I'm really getting used to using both Dragon Tyrant and Specter Mirage," he thought, determination bubbling inside him.

Rose glanced back at them as the cart began to roll forward. "Be prepared, this will be a long adventure."

The horses trotted steadily, and with each passing moment, the mansion grew smaller in the distance.

As they traveled, the sun hung high in the sky, casting warm light over the landscape. Elysia leaned closer to Hiro, her eyes bright with curiosity. "What do you think we'll see in Sylveria? Do you think we'll meet the strongest magician, Klein?"

Hiro smiled. "I hope so."

Elysia nodded vigorously. "Tsk acting super cool and not excite huh", "I guess, that's the attitude of all geniuses."

Hiro couldn't help but smirk. "Elysia. We'll both grow stronger together."
