Chapter 9 - Gyapong on a journey 5

The beautiful morning clouds was covered by mist. Gyapong was already awake and well dressed. Gyapong hanged the cloth in which he packed his belongings around his left shoulder for his journey. "I wish master Adowa was here, just a good-bye" Gyapong said as he sighed.

"The carriage transporting goods to Alata Is here" the carriage rider announced. Gyapong hearing this, he quickly run out from his room to outside. When he was twelve steps away, he turned back to look at the house he and his master once lived in. "I will always remember this is my home" Gyapong whispered with a cunnig smile.

Gyapong turned back an run to stand in front of the carriage in the main road. The carriage rider pulled the rope around the neck of the white horse with almost all his might."who is this kid?", the carriage rider jumped of the saddle to the ground. He wored ordinary cloth and a brown slippers.

"Hey kid!, what are you doing in the main road!?", the carriage rider asked angrily. Just that moment, Gyapong who was healthy a minute before, was now sick.

Gyapong staggered five footsteps forward, with his right-hand on his stomach. "Sir please, am not feeling well, Please can I get a ride?,.. my stomach, am dieing.., please can you get me to Alata?..., don't worry about anything else, I know a herbalist there.., and he's even my grandpa, please!!" Gyapong pleaded.

The rider walked forward to pick Gyapong up on his right shoulder. Gyapong was only at age five, he was not heavy that much to be carried by a nineteen years boy.

The carriage rider seated Gyapong on a spared seat behind his seat(saddle). The carriage rider jumped up onto his seat. "Don't worry kid, you would not die, I Amprofi, I won't let that happen".

"Speed of sound, horse go!!" the carriage rider shouted closing his eyes and pointing his index finger forward. The horse walked like a tortise. The carriage rider opened his right eye looking down to the horse, "I said go!!, speed of sound", the rider said as he closed his opened eye. The horse stiil walked slow. The carriage rider opened both eyes and sighed. He lifted up a cane, "don't blame me, horse", the carriage rider whipped the horse. The horse raised it head and cried out loud as it sped up.

Alata is an opened market center, purposely for trading between traders and buyers only. Villages with low key profile are not allowed to trade outside their village, they are seen as just some uncivilized citizens. Most of the buyers in cities know very well that, the items and cash crops produced by a villager, is ten times better than the one produced by a city person. The city people, use deadly chemicals to fertilize the cash crops, in-other for them to grow early, and grow big food, while the villagers, get enough time waiting for the cash crops and food stuffs to grow, and using natural fertilizer. This is the difference between a village trader and a city trader.

Buyers in the cities, instead of growing cash crops, they travel all the way to villages to trade with traders, especially farmers.

Alata has been the market center for four villages at the West pole since Nana became the Lord of the lower realm. Most of the buyers who come for trading at Alata bully the traders who mention the price for their items. At Alata market center, the buyer mentions the price of the item he/she wants to buy, because most of them, or let me say, all of them have made it to the Grand-master level. They scare the traders with the aura of their level. Soul power is not commonly found in middle level creatures, Grand-master level upwards creatures are likely to have soul power.

It is true that only a creature born with soul power can have soul power. In this world, you will have to reach a certain level before you can activate your soul power.

The buyers at Alata, always buy the items from traders at a low price and send it to the cities to sell them at a high price. The Gyata kingdom receives two-thirds of every monthly and yearly tax of trading at all the four poles in the lower realm.

Gyapong sat firmly on his seat, as he read about the procedure of how to read and use the map. The carriage rider whipped the horse several times,"go!go!go!"

Any late trader at Alata, is given a punishment.

Alata is 1km away from Apace.

The carriage rider whipped the horse as they pass many villages, into a mute forest, and to another three villages before they arrived at Alata.

Gyapong suddenly felt like something was burning in him. He couldn't control his-self, his eyes closed and opened continuously as if his memories were being flashed back. Gyapong looked up to the carriage rider who was seriously riding. Gyapong tried to cool his body down with some of his secret healing techniques, but it was not much useful. With Gyapong's level now, he couldn't use the healing techniques to its level required to cool him down.

The carriage rider announced,"here we are, Alata". Gyapong, who was almost falling down tried to speak out but his tone was not enough to hear.

"Will you recognize your grandpa?" the carriage rider asked Gyapong, looking down to him. Gyapong hid the pain in him and tried to exert out his innate power just to say thank you. Luckily, when Gyapong did tried to exert out his innate power, a blue, white crystal appeared in him from nowhere and spreaded its blue patterns all around in Gyapong to cool his physical body down. "Thank you" Gyapong said politely as he jumped off his seat. His innate power was not exerted. "Fare well kid" the carriage rider said as he whipped the horse to speed up.

Gyapong looked to the direction the horse went, Gyapong could see countless carriages being rode to a center. Wooden houses and people walking around.

Gyapong stood looking straight. A girl of Gyapong's age in a blue robe, wearing a long white sorce, purple shoes, with a pony black hair, holding her belongings in a small sized yellow bag, hits on Gyapong.

Gyapong turned around, "sorry", he said calmly.
