Chapter 12 - SEFWI-BEKWAI CITY

Three small stones from a different direction hit Gyapong's back.

"Who is that!?", this time when Gyapong asked, his voice was loud with anger.

Yaa stood in the bush smiling. Unfortunately for Yaa, her voice was heard by Gyapong. "So, Yaa is behind this?" Gyapong asked in mind. Yaa laughed to the extent that she bent down with her right hand on her stomach. Gyapong saw Yaa's hideout. He pretended not to have seen Yaa's hideout. Slowly, Gyapong walked backwards and within a blink of an eye, Gyapong had dissapeared in a flash.

Yaa slowly stood up to look at Gyapong. Yaa's smile dissapeared,"where is he?..., did he run away from here?.., I thought he said we will go to Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic togher?" Yaa asked herself as she came out from her hideout, quickly into the hut.

"So, you where the one?" Gyapong standing with a red face asked impatiently. "How did he?"Yaa was motionless and speechless, only speaking to herself in mind.

"I asked a question!" Gyapong asked angrily. "I..I..I.it..it

"Just joking Yaa" Gyapong interrupted smiling. Yaa's heart beat racing against time came back to its normal beat. "That was fun" Gyapong said.

"How did you get in here?" Yaa asked Gyapong in I a low tone. Gyapong walked out from the hut, Yaa followed him.

"I heard some one smile" Gyapong pointed to Yaa's hideout. "In that direction, I intentionally pretended not to have heard it, just to draw your attention from me.., luckily, my trap caught you. Quickly, I run into that bush" Gyapong pointed to a bush on his right. "I slowly walked to the hut without you seeing me, that's how I got here" Gyapong conclude smiling. "Oh I see" Yaa did softly. "So, are you angry for what I did?

"No at all" Gyapong interrupted. Yaa smiled. Yaa jumped to hug Gyapong, both fell to the ground. "We will be late for the assessment, let's hurry to Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic" Yaa said.

Yaa's face was basked to the dazzling beautiful brighting sky. Yaa was carried on Gyapong's back. "Aren't we at the Sefwi-Bekwai yet?" Yaa asked Gyapong in a low tone. "Am not tired, but you..." Gyapong sighed in anger. Yaa smiled "Thank you for your generosity".

Gyapong shouted "we are here, Sefwi-Bekwai city!". "Oh" Yaa jumped down.

Gyapong fell to the ground, sweating.

Yaa run forward and jumped with a big "Yey!!".

The Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic has been the most popular, strongest, and the most awarded school in the lower realm. Some rumours even say," Nana was the one established the Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic, after he defeated all the other three immortals in the lower realm and travelled to the West pole to cultivate his power for five years".

Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic having the tittle, "the lower realm soldiers", every child in the lower realm born with a talent in magic, and combat, has only one goal in his or her mind, which is to go to the Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic.

16 schools in total are established in the lower realm, the West pole: Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic, Anokye's sword academy, Abanaba school of fighters, and Omanhene academy which is the most degraded school at the West pole. The West pole has four schools, with Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic as their strongest and famous, Anokye's sword academy follows, Abanaba school of fighters the third strongest, and Omanhene academy.

Most of the students in Abanaba school of fighters, and almost all the students at Omanhene leave the school to either Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic, or Anokye's sword academy.

Omanhene academy is now going down, because there are only 4 students in the school. The students who come there spend about only a week or two there, and leave, because it is said that the founder of the school does not provide the needed training equipments and better trainings to train a talent, so they cannot waist their time and talent in such a lounge place.

The rate at which the Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic enrolls student is beyond the expectation of most of the people at the West pole.

[More details about the schools will be given in the next chapters, now, let's continue to read the story of Gyapong].

The bustling Sefwi-Bekwai city is beautiful and neat; looking at the tall buildings painted brown, blue and white, with triangular ceilings and other shapes.

If one is to be there, he or she will find its astonishing.

There's a linear walking path that leads to the Sefwi-Bekwai school. And yes, there are traders selling different type of foodstuffs on raised wooden tables. Not only food stuffs, items such as, candles, kites, and firesticks are sold there.

Other trades also have their items stored in a beautiful painted houses; and they are the people with plenty customers.

The streets are cleaned almost every morning. They dirts are cleaned up by "clean Grand-masters". As the name says, they are people, middle aged, who come almost every morning and cast a secret spell to tidy the streets, after their work is done within some seconds, they fly away. Their identies are unknown, for they wear mask everyday.

Gyapong and Yaa walked to the Sefwi-Bekwai bustling city. The place was too noisy that, if you were only five steps away from Gyapong and Yaa, you would not hear their conversation, because of the raised voices of the traders on the street. Their noise was enough to change the shape of a sleeping ocean. "Gyapong, do you have any idea about where we are going?" Yaa asked Gyapong. "Mrs. Yaa, please remember you said you know where we are going". "No, no, I said, I know Sefwi-Bekwai city, not Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic. And moreover, am not going with you to the Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic", "why?" Gyapong asked. "Gyapong, I am already a student of a school, so.., sorry to say, but am not going with you to the Sefwi-Bekwai school of magic".
