Chereads / His only Cure / Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

Anton wanted to somehow explain to his father that maybe it was a little too early for hugs.

However, seeing his sister, who started walking towards him nervously but with hope in her eyes, he just smiled to himself.

He didn't know how much Sophie wanted to feel loved by her parents. Her mother always showed her a lot of affection, but her father...

Now she knew why he looked at her like that. Knowing him, it probably angered him to raise someone else's child and pretend it was his. Give her an education and a job.

But he allowed it to happen himself. If he hadn't given him her mother for the business... In any case, Sophie never knew a father's love. But she recognized how strong his hand was.

Now, standing before the strange man who was her real father, she felt hopeful. Deep down, she hoped it would be different with him. After all, the way he looked at her on the phone...

She was literally a few steps ahead of him when the man couldn't stand it and walked up to her, taking her in his arms. His hug was so...satisfying. Sophie's arms instinctively embraced him and she closed her eyes, hugging him longingly. After all these years, she was finally able to hug her dad. Her real, loving dad.

They would probably stay like that forever if it weren't for Anton.

"You will have enough time for cuddles. Come eat something. I'm hungry" He complained, rolling his eyes.

"He's jealous that you don't hug him like that too."

Gregorej whispered into his daughter's ear. He patted her gently on the back and they both sat down at the table. Sophie looked at her brother with a smile.

"I see he's already told you stupid things. Don't believe every word he says. He's a trickster." He looked at his father, disgusted. He didn't want to seem weak, but his father obviously wanted to show his daughter how soft her brother was. Rolling his eyes once again, he called for people to bring food.

"How do you feel after all this?" Gregorej asked Sophie, staring at her the whole time and picking aimlessly at his plate.

"Much better. I would never have suspected that someone would kidnap me from outside my apartment during the day and in front of other people."

Looking at the plate, she remembered the whole incident from the beginning. The kidnappers were very well-coordinated and agile. They were vigilant at all times until the very end.

"I must have been quite a hindrance to someone." She laughed, making a sad face.

"Sophie.." Dad put his hand on her shoulder. "Only stupid, greedy people stealthily attack those better and stronger than themselves."

"Knowing Darell and Don, there will be no trace of them by tomorrow," Anton added, partly dissatisfied.

He also wanted to take revenge on the bastards who did this to her. But he knew Don would be faster. After all, it is one of the organizations similar to his and Anton himself focused on saving his sister. Disappointed, he tried to console himself with the fact that he could now spend time with his sister instead of chasing after some roaches.

Sophie wanted to know more about what they said, but the men changed the subject and started talking about old times.

Sophie heard how young Anton liked to make his father nervous by getting into fights and often disappearing at night and returning in the morning battered. What a rebel he was as a teenager and how little he changed as an adult.

Anton, of course, tried to defend himself against his father's stories, and Sophie, seeing their cute quarrel, laughed heartily.

"Not to mention how many women follow him and he won't even look at them. Instead of looking for a wife, he sits in this office and does nothing but work and work. I want grandchildren." Gregory, grumpy like a child, sat with his arms crossed on his chest.

"I already told you that I have someone I love. And you know very well that there won't be grandchildren from it." Anton became serious.

"You could always adopt..." The father obviously knew what he meant. Apparently he had no problems with who his son loved, but clearly there was a problem.

"Is there something wrong between you two?" Sophie was obviously interested in this topic and wanted to find out more. Anton frowned and looked depressed.

"I would do anything for him but he thinks that someone of high standing like me is too much for a person as normal as him. He practically ran away from me, thinking I'd find a wife... But he's the only person I want to be with. Nothing won't change that"

"That's what my son should think" Gregory praised his son.

"Dad's right. Show him you care about him" Sophie added.

Looking at the family, Anton smiled sincerely and nodded.

"I gave him enough time to think. Time to act" Cunning smile appeared on his face.

At the same time, in Darell's office, the boss's hard-working assistant sneezed.

"I hope it's not a symptom of illness. I don't have time for this." He sighed. "I hope the boss and Miss Sophie get back to work soon. Otherwise, it won't end well for me," Noah sneezed again, looking through the papers. He didn't know that in this situation, illness would be a better solution for him...

Night finally came. Sophie went to bed, after a long conversation with her father and brother, Darell sat down at his desk and got to work hard, and Don...

Don sat brazenly in Zick's chair and watched him work. Why brazenly? Because the grumpy Zick was sitting on the lap of his boss, who was holding him in his arms and resting his head on his shoulder. Because of this position, Zick couldn't concentrate on his job.

Out of nowhere, without any notice, Don showed up at his house late in the evening and sat down in that position, telling him to work.

"I don't feel comfortable in this position" He grumbled. Silence. "Sit next to me" Still silence. "I can't work in this position"

"Don't complain. I know you like it" Don mumbled before getting down to business.

"Peter must have some cameras in his office. Break in and give me the full picture" Don said in his ear. The young man's fingers stopped for a moment, surprised, but quickly returned to flying across the keyboard.

Zick's eyes were focused on several screens and his eyes read the records quickly. The man didn't see his boss stealing glances at his face with a faint smile.

"I got in"

One of the screens displayed a room in which several men were sitting, apparently discussing something.

"Good job. Now transfer all his money to our accounts" The boss's hands tightened around Zick's waist.

With his face slightly flushed, his fingers began to work hard again. Windows from several banks and a lot of numbers began to pop up on the nearby screen, which quickly began to decrease. A few seconds later they all showed one number. Zero.

"Done" Zick leaned against his boss's chest, closing his eyes for a moment. Normally he would have an energy drink, but his boss forbade him from drinking them in his presence. He needed sugar.

"Let me out. I want something to drink." He grabbed his hands, which didn't even move.

"Wait. I want to see what face he'll make before I take him down."

"I need sugar!" Zick tried to break free, but his tugging was in vain.

"You'll get it. Now wait." He said without taking his eyes off the screen.

The man sitting behind the desk started receiving notifications on his phone. As he looked at it and read the messages, his face contorted in anger. He stood up and threw the phone at the wall, shattering the device. He was banging his hand on the desk and shouting something furiously at the other people. Everyone left the room in a hurry and Don, pleased, turned Zick towards him.

"Excellent job" He grabbed his chin and kissed him passionately on the lips. Surprised, Zick quickly fell into the kiss. He had been waiting for this for so long and he finally succeeded.

Don's mouth hungrily devoured the man's lips and a low growl of pleasure escaped from his throat. Don looked lustfully at the panting Zick. He wanted something more, but it might have been too much for the young man's first time. However, he did not know how much the young hacker was counting on. He took him off his lap and, standing up, kissed him on the top of his head.

"I gave you enough sugar. Go and rest. I have to take care of the cockroaches." He waved his hand behind him and left the subordinate's house.

Zick, overwhelmed by what had happened, crouched down, burying his face in his hands.

"How am I supposed to rest now. I hate you for this..."
