Rain seeing the slavers attacking the wolves starts entering the range of his soul power. Rain smiles in anticipation when all the slavers fighting with the wolves are within his soul's power range.
Rain hears cheers coming from the slaver's camp and sees that the slavers standing at the camp entrance are cheering for their fellow slavers who are fighting with the wolves because they are winning the fight against the wolves.
Rain hears one of the slavers shouting," The wolves are being pushed back toward the forest, kill them before they reach the forest or they will escape inside the forest."
And some other slavers, "kill them!"
Rain smiled and thought about how they would their reaction be after he started his attack. Rain seeing the slavers, becomes angry and changes his plan. The plan before was when the slavers were fighting the wolves, he would sneak inside the camp from the other side rescue his friends, and escape. But seeing the slavers Rain felt rage and the memory of Glenn after the slavers caught him came into the forefront of his mind. Now, Rain plans to kill all the slavers.
With that in mind Rain started his attack, He bombarded the minds of the slavers within the range of his soul power with multiple lengthy gibberish messages in a loud tone.

All of the slavers did not engage with the wolves some of them were standing at the camp's entrance watching the fight. As the slavers that were fighting the wolves started suppressing the wolves and wolves started to move backward toward the forest.
Seeing this slavers watching the fight started cheering. The slavers who are watching the fight also include those who are in charge of the team of slavers. Everyone's faces are flush with excitement as they do not take the wolves' attacks seriously because the number of wolves attacking them is inadequate to pose a serious threat to them, they consider the fight as a means of entertainment.
But among them, the boss of the team of slavers did not have a smile on his face but a look of worry as he watched the fight. And this is noticed by someone.
The man who noticed the worried look on the boss's face turned to sneer and spoke loudly for anybody near them to listen," Vale, why do you look worried and not happy our members are winning the fight."
Vale, aware of why Belin was speaking to him in such a tone, after his plan to retire after this sale of the slave plan leaked, Belin started to undermine him but Vale did not consider Belin a threat, so he calmly replies" Belin I feel something amiss."
Belin with a mocking tone," Vale you are getting old that's why you worried needlessly." and continued," What's amiss about it? Some wild wolves are hungry and so they attack our camp."
Vale simply smiled at Belin and looked at Belin who started to jump the leader of their Black Lion mercenary group but he did not know he could never be the leader of the mercenary group even if he gets the support of the majority of the members, so he again replies with a calm tone," I thought something was amiss because they are wild wolves." seeing he has everyone attention of the members near him, he continued, " Wild wolves are cunning animals and they will attack anything stronger than them. "
And then Vale's suspicions are confirmed, and the battle takes an unexpected turn, the slavers fighting the wolves start to clutch both sides of their ears and scream in pain and the wolves find their attackers stopped attacking and are screaming in pain making them bewildered for a second and then they lunged on the slaver's throat.

Vale watched in horror as the wolves lunged and ripped the throats of the slavers. His suspicions are confirmed but he did not want his suspicions to be correct. He suspected several reasons why the wolves attacked their camp even knowing they could not win and after seeing his subordinate fighting the wolves clutching their head, he pointed to one of the reasons.
But this time he did not want to be right because being right meant their mercenary team would be in danger of destruction.
Before Vale could process his thoughts, the slavers who were cheering were dumbfounded by the turn of the battle. Their friends were winning the fight at one moment and the very next moment their friend's throats are ripped open by the wolves. They did not even have time to rescue their friends. Some of them were close to dead members their faces morphed into anger and some of them charged toward the wolves without any moment of thought.
Vale sees his subordinates fighting the wolves have their throat ripped open and then some of his subordinates standing beside him charge at the wolves. He shouted toward them," Stop."
The slavers who are standing at the entrance of the camp watch in horror as another group of their team is screaming in pain while clutching their ears and are going to be killed by the wolves.
Belen and some of the slavers want to step forward and rescue them.
Vale sternly ordered," Everybody stays in your place, and do not take a step forward."
One of the slavers was indignant," If we do not do something they are going to be killed." The action of the wolves confirmed him as only 5 slavers charged in anger now and on the opposite side there were 17 wolves so multiple wolves attacked one slaver tearing them apart.
And those who stayed behind watched in horror as their team members were torn apart are shredded Wolves were displaying their brutality and after killing them, they started to eat them in front of the rest of the slavers as if to provoke them into attacking them.
Belen sees the second group was immobilized like the first group and killed by the wolves and the action of the wolves later causes him to be suspicious but he cannot be seen by the team members to be agreeing with Vale and to prove he is right, so with a righteous tone," Vale you are the leader of our team but I cannot watch them killing my brothers and get away with it."
Another one of the Slavers in anger," Second boss is right we should teach the wolves a lesson ."
Vale shouted in a commanding tone" I said stop. "
Belen and some who were going to rescue them stopped after hearing Vale. Belen sighed in relief as he did not want to attack the wolves before he knew the reason why the team members attacked before clutching their ears and screaming in pain and not even raising their hands in defense when the wolves attacked them. He did not want to fight the wolves his only goal was to gain support from the rest of the mercenary team.
Vale," Let's enter the camp and barricade the entrance and with bows and arrows shoot the wolves to dead." taking a deep look at the forest, he suspects the mastermind is hidden inside the forest and they cannot go near him and have to attack from a distance. He enters the camp.
With that Belen and the rest of the slaves followed Belen inside the Camp.

Rain inside the forest watches the rest of the slavers are not provoked by the action of the wolves and go inside the camp and barricade the gate. Rain is in a dilemma now will he come out of the clearing to attack the slavers or command the wolves to attack the camp?
Before he can make a decision, the slaver's action makes Rain start thinking of a third plan. The slavers now inside the camp attacked the wolves with bows and arrows and two of the wolves were killed. Rain decided the wolves staying in the open in the clearing were an open target for the slavers shooting arrows. He commands the pack to return to the forest.
Rain has to think of a third plan. Now, He and the wolves cannot leave the forest to the clearing or he will be an open target to the slavers with bows and arrows in their hands. He is also unable to influence or attack the slavers they must be under the range of 25 meters around him.
As Rain wanted to kick himself after taking control of the pack of wolves he became overconfident and lost the chance to rescue his friend when the slaver's attention was on the wolf. Now the slaver's camp is on high alert and will likely shoot anything that comes near their camp.
Rain thought he would be able to influence more animals to attack the camp but then he had to venture out of the forest to search for animals and in the meantime the slavers could break their camp and start their journey. And searching for them would be difficult.
Rain is frustrated he is powerless to think of a course of action to rescue his friend. He felt something wet fall on his face. He did not notice the first then again something wet landed on his arm and when the third landed, Rain looked up at the sky, and then a drop of water landed on his face.
Rain's mouth widened in a grin and look at the slaver's camp and spoke," Looks like today luck is on my side." after a few seconds rain started pouring and most of the torches in the slaver's camp extinguished themselves.
