It all happened fast and Lucifer couldn't stop her. He carefully pulled her away when they stopped shooting and stared at her face. She was smiling at him.
He growled as he placed her on the floor and turned to the demons. Fire emanating from his hands as his demon and wolf joined him.
"Ahh!'he screamed as he burned them all with the fire.
He watched them burn with no emotions in his eyes as he turned and sat beside Neriah carefully placing her head on his lap.
"Why?!"he asked crying and she smiled bringing her weak hand to his face.
"Because it is my fate. It is meant to happen and I can't stop it"said Neriah as tears fell down her eyes.
"We could have stopped it. You could have stayed inside"he said and Neriah nodded negatively.
"And I could have lost you"she said.
"Hang on tight, I will try healing you"Lucifer said and Neriah nodded negatively.
"It's too late"she said and Lucifer wept as she coughed out blood.
"Wait for me, I will be back"she said and Lucifer nodded negatively.
"Don't leave me,please"he cried out kissing her fingers.
"Don't destroy anyone but live happily and wait for me. No matter how long it takes,make sure you find me. I don't care if you have to abduct me again. That's my third wish"Neriah said as she closed her eyes giving darkness way.
She died with no regrets but with fulfillments. She saved her love.
"Noooo"Lucifer cried out in pain as he felt his wolf and demon growling in pain.
He felt life slip out of her and he also heard a faint sound fading out as well. It wasn't her life but someone else's. He brought his ears close to her stomach and his eyes welled up in realization. She was with his seed. She fucking died with his baby!
His eyes reddened! He was going to destroy the whole world but remembering her last words he could only weep.
He carefully carried her in his arms and walked back to the mansion. He passed by many dead bodies but didn't care until his eyes met with that of the witch,Vanessa.
His eyes hardened as he wanted to kill her. She was already unconscious yet he knew she wasn't dead but a man magically appeared before her shielding her.
"She has what's mine. You can kill her after"he said as he took her away while Lucifer growled in anger.
She was the cause of all of this!
He looked at the lifeless Neriah in his arms again and walked into the mansion to see Killian who quickly ran towards him.
Killian was badly injured but didn't care as he saw the dead Neriah. Tears flowed down his face, if only he wasn't too ambitious to get what wasn't his.
If he hadn't given his support to that witch maybe Neriah would still be alive.
Filled with guilt,he transformed into his dragon as he flew to the unknown.
Lucifer placed Neriah on the bed in her room and smiled sadly as he ran his hands through her face.
She was gone and all he had left were the memories.
She was selfish to risk hers and their child's life for him
She didn't think of how he would live without her
All she wanted was to protect her love,making him feel weak and useless for not protecting her
She brought light into his dark world only to throw him into a greater darkness when she left
She crossed a bridge he cannot follow
She passed through a narrow road he can't fit in
Young ones think there will always be tomorrow
But now he knew that there's only a tomorrow when today gets passed away
Tears couldn't revive her but he couldn't hold them back
If he had just left her and never marked her as his,would she still be alive?
He knew that he wasn't going to give up on her
He would wait for centuries and millennium years if she wants him to
He would just settle for the ghost of her
She is his life and everything.
Her memories lived even when she's gone
Those are things he is left to hold onto
But he knew her last wish might be left unfulfilled
'Cause he doesn't think he knows how to be happy anymore
His smile went with her
He can't forget how bright her smile was
He can't forget how warm her touch was but all that's left now is coldness
The taste of lips just like vanilla was all gone with her in a twinkle of eye
"Ahh!"he screamed in pain as he felt like something was slipping out of him.
"Frediano,what's happening?"he asked in pain.
"We are bonded to mate so since she left, we will be leaving you too. We'll be back with her"said Frediano sadly
"H-O-P-E on,Lucian. Hold On Pain Ends, we'll be back sooner than you expect. Don't give up"he heard them echo as Lucifer felt his wolf and demon slip out of him.
He cried in pain as he fell to the floor. Everything important to him was leaving in a day.
He was just like an empty shell
He had nothing else to live for
He could just live while waiting
Guess his worst fate can't be changed
Waiting for the day he would become whole again
